What People Are Saying About Angry Dog

The Scene – This popular spot looks and feels like a pub. The brick walls hold mirrored beer signs and chalkboards listing the current wines and drafts. Black-and-white photos surround a stuffed marlin above the large bar. Tables are close together, so don't expect a quiet conversation. The noise level is high, but not too loud to hear other people at the table. Angry Dog T-shirts, mugs, hats and golf towels are also sold here. – – The Food – The menu features traditional American pub fare with a few highlights. The chicken wings are legendary; the "extra hot" version…
Editor's Tips
- Know Before You Go:
- Although the bar is open a few hours later, the kitchen is only cookin' until midnight Monday through Thursday and 9pm on Sundays.
- When to Go:
- If you head here for lunch, try to beat the noon traffic, when the room fills up.
- What to Drink:
- The stock of beers and wines updates regularly, so ask your server if there's anything new to try.
- The Extras:
- Die hard fans can snag Angry Dog t-shirts and caps as souveniers.
One of BEST for Burgers'N Fries~!

Angry Dog is definitely one of my favorite burger places... burger is always cooked as ordered, juicy, great flavor, and the fries are homecut potato style fries not the frozen cheap-a$$ ones. Haven't had much else here but the salsa, guac and chips are friggin awesome too!!!

I am big into the calm beyond an atmosphere that the restaurants I go to provide and this is one of my favorites. If you live around Dallas or just visiting I'd definitely recommend stopping by. Their burgers are out of this world!

Amazing cheese burger....the best I've ever had.
I order it with American Cheese, mayo, tomato...medium....there's nothing like it.
They get the perfect char on the burger...and the bun is grilled...it's fantastic.
Not to go unmentioned....their chicken fingers, spiedies chicken sandwich, the Angry Dog hotdog....so freakin good.
the staff there are quick, friendly and accomodating...
one of my favorite restaurants...ever!!
- Pros: Great food, great staff
- Cons: I hate meter parking...but there's usually plenty available
The best out of 6
by rwndallas at Citysearch
My friends and I sought the best burger in Dallas. AD won. The meat was our favorite out of 6 burgers. Although I will say that the burger at Hully and Mo's had the best bun and the fries were excellent if you like crispy. If you could put the meat from AD on the bread from Hully and Mo's that would be a BURGER. Also the sports bar atmosphere at Hully and Mo's was more to my liking.
- Pros: juicy, juicy
- Cons: nothing
