i performed at the liquid lounge 4 times as a hip hop artist who moves around alot those lights get to me everytime the sound guy has been good to me at times lol. my wife knows the managment and bouncer after the 2nd time we have a good repoire and enjoy my converstations with those guys.beers are cheap the memories are priceless for any act in dfw you have to perform at the liquid lounge at least once its a great intimate setting for you and your fans and the staff is by far the nicest i ever met.

Freakish bartender experience - do your shots before you go

Maybe I just came on a bad night. Twice. But I like to see my cousin's band play on the weekends when I can. But seriously, the bartending staff needs an attitude adjustment. Just because it's too loud to understand the tab instructions the first time doesn't mean I need someone to come out from behind the bar, scream in my face (exactly what, I couldn't understand), and literally throw my credit card at me. And she scratched out the tip area on my receipt just for good measure! Like this was a likelihood, a tip. Not that being busy would be a justification for this, but I was one of three people at the bar. I'm about as chilled out as they come. I'm still seriously wondering what happened that night, or better yet what SHE thinks happened that night. I'll certainly be back to see Edgewater, but you can bet they're not getting any more beer money from me. That was scary.
