In Short – From the plastic grapes lining the latticed ceiling to the swelling sounds of '60s crooners and Italian standards, one could picture any member of the Rat Pack dining at this traditional Italian restaurant. Though the walls are painted with Venetian scenes, the décor is more reminiscent of Cleveland than the Mediterranean. The menu includes everything from seafood to pasta to subs. Entrees are available in half orders or split the generous full portions.
Not What It Used To Be

Two Guys from Italy had always been a favorite. I first introduced my boyfriend a few months ago and we enjoyed the pizza made to order and the fresh sliced sausage. The service felt severely awkward, but the food could compensate.
However, today was a very unappealing experience. Besides the lately, typical awkward service, our sausage and pepperoni pizza came with crumbled sausage, exactly like what one might find on a "crispy crust" pizza ( a $1 frozen pizza readily available in the frozen pizza section of a supermarket).
As frugal as I am, I truly had a second thought about bringing the left-overs home. We had to scrape the odd sausage off as much as possible before eating.
Two Guys had always been a family favorite, but has clearly been lacking recently in service and especially in the once enjoyable quality of pizza.
Two Guys from Italy needs to get back with the program and make a good ol' pizza like they used to
- Pros: charming decor
- Cons: service entirely lacking, food getting poorer
Changes at this favored restaurant !!

** Update on Two Guys From Italy ** For all of us out there who love this restaurant, things have changed!
Looks like the menu has changed, and the 1/2 orders of pasta dishes are no longer offered, and serving portions are defintely smaller. The economic times are showing here! Went there last night, and was surprised to see this change on the menu. Same wonderful Old Italy and fun atmosphere and great service, but serving plates were smaller to probably make smaller food servings still look good. I l had plenty to enjoy and even take some Lasagna home (was still very good). Still recommend this neighborhood favorite, just don't be surprised by the obvious changes !!!
- Pros: Still love the atmosphere and great service. Food also still enjoyable.
- Cons: Smaller portions, no 1/2 pasta orders any longer
You get seated right away 99% of the time, now that's great customer service.

I have not written on a message board ever, until now. A friend from college brought me to eat here and I have been a fan ever since. I don't know where that friend is now but I am grateful for her introducing me to one of Dallas's best kept secrets. The staff is really nice and the design is jeans/ shorts friendly, dimmed lights, hanging wine bottles and grapes and lots of booths. For the price, you get a LOT of GOOD food. I have tried to bring as many friends as I can out because, as you can see, they don't do a lot of advertising. I love the bread, calamari, ravioli, tortellini, lasagna and alfredo sauce. I also like that this isn't a chain so if you go regularly, they remember you. I think their food is better than Olive Garden and on par with Macaroni Grill but a better price! My husband used the restaurant in a scavenger hunt for the day of his proposal. Check this place out, I bet you'll like it too.
- Pros: The parking lot is close by and you don't have to valet. The "alcoholic drink" prices are very reasonable.
- Cons: They don't have the super fancy italian fusion dishes, just traditional Italian food. The desserts are so-so.
