Love the Brunch!!!. My family has been going to Casita for many years. I was thrilled when my Mother and I visited and saw the transformation the new owner's had created with Nueva Casita. The food, as always, was fantastic. The recipes appear to be the same and the food is still delicious! I love the new Brunch they added to the menu (my favorite is Huevos con Pappas). Nueva Casita's salsa is also the best in town, a perfect combination of ingredients with the perfect amount of heat. The new soup (Chicken Enchilada-a tasty creamy base loaded with chunks of chicken, corn and black beans) is to die for and absolutely scrumptious. The service staff is very attentive, friendly and I always receive my meal prompt but more important it is hot and correct...hats off to the chef. A great place to go to for lunch (quick in and out even when the place is full). I recommend Nueva Casita to all my friends and have converted those that have visited and they now call Nueva Casita their "favorite" Tex-Mex restaurant also.

The BEST MARGARITAS in town!!!!. This place has changed my mind about Margaritas, I have always been a beer drinker, "Coronas". But once I tasted their Margaritas there was no turning back. Everytime I have visted Nueva Casita that is all drink. And that is the ONLY place that I will order a Margarita. And the food, especially the Tacos Al Carbon are my favorite. The meat is very tender and well seasoned. You need to go try this place out!

Great Tortilla Soup!!. Since the restaurant has been remodeled I have been going back at least once a week. They have a great tortilla soup that I love. I get it every time. It is so delicious and not heavy or fattening with tons of vegetables. I think they've done a great job fixing up the place. We grew up eating at Casita's....all the old favorites, enchiladas, tacos etc. are exactly like when Pete was there. So far the service has been good. Looks like all the same people. I do miss all the old photos of the Dallas Cowboys players from the 70s that used to cover the walls!!!
