In Short – This small restaurant hosts locals coming for a cheap lunch or those looking to save time buying beer (beer is available at the drive-thru). A couple dozen tables sit inside, while more are available on the small patio. The menu offers classic burgers at even more classic prices. Most burgers come with double meat patties, and a choice of fries or tater tots.
Service so Poor that we walked out
by JJO2
After waiting for 10 minutes for anyone from the wait staff to acknownledge us, my wife and I gave up and walked out. They were NOT busy and we seated ourselves in a booth as we had done before. What was sad is that we were about 10 feet away from the waitress station and not one waitress stopped to ask us ANYTHING. We have eaten at Jake's before, found the hamburgers to be OK but the service has always lacking. This time was the worst- a total ZERO. With this kind of service, I doubt that they will survive.
- Pros: Who knows- wait staff didn't seem to care
- Cons: Terrible service
Don't believe the rating!!

My wife and I went to Jake's expecting one of the best hamburgers in Dallas and got one of the worst. The hamburger was bland at best and not as good as most fast food restuarants. Tater tots and onion rings were probably purchased frozen from the a local food store. Being able to purchase a case of beer must be the only reason people go there. This experience ruined are Sunday afternoon.
- Cons: Hamburger did not taste good.
very average at best

This burger is very average at best. I want to know how much they had to pay to get the top rating on your site.
- Pros: Vey Dairy Queen like Ok but not special
- Cons: average bread, meat, lettuce, etc..
