This branch of the famed Dallas restaurant family serves traditional Tex-Mex in the Richardson shopping center..
In Short
The decor owes more to Luby's than a cantina, save for the mural depicting scenes from Mexican history. The salsa is a pepper-eater's dream; it will set even the hardiest tongues on fire. Rupert's special is a filling sampling of traditional favorites like cheese enchiladas slathered with chili con carne sauce, guacamole tostada and tostada compuesta (fried corn tortilla topped with refried beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and cheddar cheese).
