Horrible Service and Inconsistencies. I have recently done business with Yvonne's Bridal and although she is known to have wedding apparel, prom dresses, etc. She has serviced many before. But here, in the last 10 years or so, she has lost character somewhere. What do I mean by this? She does not have a heart to service her people, she messes up dress orders, and then argues the fact that she did her part, she measures you and measures wrong, then charges an alteration fee of $25. Where is the loyalty and customer service she use to have? I had heard before that she was not right but I wanted to experience it for myself and I have. I ordered a dress and was overcharged. I did reconcile the fact verbally and was promised to get my money back, then when I went to get my dress, it was altered, and due to her inconcise measurements, she wanted to charge me. I had been told by Billy, a seamstress there, that he wouldn't charge me the fee, not to worry about it. Yvonne did not want to honor that. She agreed to give me my money back for overcharge, but then turned around and said I owed her more money for the alterations? For the inconvenience and my constant return to the store, when I don't live in the area, should have been carefully thought out, and compensated me for the inconvenience. Even if I didn't get the money back, that was fine, just don't try to come back and charge me again for extra stuff that was your fault.

After speaking with her on this matter, she advised me that Billy, her worker, the one that told me he would do alterations with no charge, actually denied what he told me. OMG!!! How crazy!! I have no reason, at my adult sophisticated age, to lie on anyone and what they have advised me. I specifically told him that I was not paying for the dress because my mother can do small alterations herself and because I was told that he would do them with no charge, then I allowed him to do them. I was there at the store, and I ordered the dress from them, that was fine that he said he would do the dress alterations. I have never encountered working with a business that flat out lie about telling a customer something and doens't own up to their service. No character, no fairness, or no customer service.

I would never use her and I will not advise anyone else to. I hold a very precise position at my job and have a great influence on most. I am forwarding this email to them so they will know not to use this service. This review is only to explain what I have experienced with Yvonne's Bridal. I wish her continued success in her business, but it just will not be with me or anyone I know. Right is right, and wrong is wrong.............
