Very Good Pancakes!.
Good pancakes. The other food options were a little bland but nothing a little salt & pepper couldn't help. The service was ok; not anything special. Oh yea, the pancakes were on point! We would visit this restaurant again.

Made-to-order breakfasts---including over a dozen unique flapjacks---stack the odds in this restaurant's favor..
In Short
Founded in Oregon circa 1953, this simply-furnished spot owes its success to its creative menu and fresh ingredients. Batters are made on the premises; a special "sourdough starter" keeps treats from tasting overly sweet. Patrons choose from eggs, waffles, crepes and oven-baked omelets, as well as signature plates like blueberry pancakes (served with or without compote), giant cinnamon-glazed apple pancakes, thin and chewy "49-ers" and the air-filled, lemon-and-sugar-topped "Dutch Baby."

Great Coffee, Fantastic Waffles.
I've eaten at this location for quite some time, and it keeps on getting better. You'll always want to have any breakfast at OPH with a rousing cup of their homemade coffee. It's strong, bold, and very good. They've got great pancake and waffle selections and great hash browns. I recommend the golden plain waffle if you go and visit. Slather on the softest, creamiest butter you've ever spread, and you're in waffle heaven! You'll also love the smoked bacon, and those slabs are big! The waiting area is not kept very clean, but I rarely have long waits if I go early. That's another suggestion: Go early in the morning or there will be a long wait. And for you folks in Frisco, there's an OPH coming to your neighborhood. You will have the best breakfast in Frisco when this opens, but until then, don't miss this great DNT/Belt Line location!
