MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!. Best fish, best value. Traditional fare for the purist! It's a once-a-week-er for me!

Pricey but fun to eat.. One of our co-workers have been raving about this place so we had to go check it out. With us was a vegetarian, always a tough customer for sushi places. But she loved it. The sashimi was great too. I love the Japanese decor and the cozy feel of the restaurant.

My dilemma is I can't say whether I like Mr. Sushi or Mrs. Sushi more.

freshest sushi. I've been going to Mr. Sushi for 15 years now. My daughter begun eating at 5 years old and loves trying all kinds of new fish. Staff is friendly, Sushi Chefs will help make recommendations and if you buy them a beer or two who knows what kinds of new treats you'll get to try.

I know when Dice-K and ichiro come into play the rangers they both will only go to mr. sushi

Excellent green mussels. At Mr Sushi one dish in particular stands out for the seafood lover, it's the green mussel appetizer ($10) for 4 pieces. You will go home dreaming about the taste. Everything else is pretty good there. All the wait staff there are very attentive and polite and they never rush you no mater how close it is to closing time. The chefs are very entertaining and fun to watch. The ambiance is warm the decor is subtle Japanese. My visit to Mr. Sushi is always delicious and fun.

Award-winning authentic Japanese dining with an Old World feel.. In Short
This Addison restaurant has a traditional Japanese setting complete with shoji screens, hanging lanterns and painted panels. A taiko drum near the entrance draws attention to an alcove of colorful dolls. The extensive menu includes teriyaki, hot pots and noodles are available, alongside a full list of sushi. Unique to Mr. Sushi are its kaiseki set meals--with an eight-course sushi kaiseki or an 11-course meal featured. A full bar is also offered.

One of the very best!. My husband and I have been eating at Mr. Sushi for over 20 years. We learned how to eat sushi there. This is a traditional type sushi bar but they do serve non-traditional sushi as well as the standards. All the chefs are very friendly and eager to serve. The food is ALWAYS wonderful. Ask for a special roll and you will never know what you're going to get but whatever it is, it will be delicious! The $$$ add up but if you're eating sushi, you should expect that. Prices are comparable to other sushi bars--maybe $.50 more per order here but the quality makes it worthwhile. Their regular dining room menu must be just as good because it's always busy. I've been seated at a table 2-3 times in 20 years and only because the wait for the sushi bar was longer than my stomach could stand! You will never be disappointed by anything you order at Mr. Sushi. GUARANTEED! Tell them the red-headed Cathy sent you!
