HATED IT! Don't waste your $$$. The salad served came from a bag which was obviously withered. The soup was basically chicken stock with mushrooms and scallions and lacked seasoning. The food was piled on a single plate like slop. The veggies were all prepared with the same seasonings as the seafood and steak so everything had the same flavor. The seafood was over cooked, but the steak was perfect. The best thing on the menu was the plum wine. I guess you can't mess up pouring a glass of wine. It was not worth our money.

The service was fine until the check came when the waitress looked over my husband's shoulder to make sure the gratuity was sufficient.

ALWAYS WONDERFUL!. Kobe Steaks is always wonderful. The food is outstanding. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is outstanding. This is my favorite restaurant!

Great Birthday Place!. I went to Kobe Steaks with several of my friends for my birthday and it was the best experience I've ever had! After the renovation, the lounge was so nice and cozy. The food and service is good as always. The new thing I experienced was the birthday cake my friends got... it had our edible picture on it~!! Its something you want to try!!

Hibachi grill offers a traditional Japanese dining experience in a somewhat modern backdrop in Addison.. The Scene
Heavy majestic doors open to a dark lounge area anchored with a sunken bar. Cushy couches and bowls of crunchy snacks beckon guests while they admire the traditional Japanese art showcased in modern fixtures. Large u-shaped community tables with hibachi grills are arranged for small or large groups. Friendly staff navigates guests throughout the restaurant and hibachi experience.

The Food
Filet, chicken and shrimp dominate the menu and are individually available or in combination entrees. All dinner options are accompanied by a shrimp appetizer, a gumbo soup, salad, rice, sherbet and tea. New York Strip is also available with full dinner accompaniments and dessert. Food is cooked in animated fashion at tableside; swift chopping, a burning onion volcano and clever dialogue entertain the table crowd. Cold or hot Sake and Japanese beers complement the menu best.

Hits: Hibachi chefs are full of fun and the food is full of flavor.

Misses: Community table groups may or may not be preferable.

GREAT FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS. MY FAMILY & I HAVE BEEN GOING HERE FOR OVER 10 YEARS NOW & HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL & MOST CHEFS ARE VERY ENTERTAINING. IT IS SORT OF PRICY & THE WAIT IS LONG ON NIGHTS YOU CAN'T MAKE RESERVATIONS (FRI & SAT) BUT IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT! THEIR SPECIALTY DRINKS ARE ALSO VERY GOOD (MY FAVORITES ARE KOBE RUM PUNC.H, GEISHA SPECIAL & SAMURAI SWORD)
