This is hands down the best salon to go to if you have fine or thin hair. The owner, Terri Hoover, is my stylist and although I can't vouch for the rest of her staff, she is amazing. The atmosphere is always fun and relaxed, and I always walk out feeling fabulous :)

Here's the deal ladies, I have the worst hair on the planet, super fine, thinning feathers instead of hair. Terri will always talk to me honestly about what will work for my hair and what will damage it. When she does highlights, my hair doesn't break. She's the only one that can get it really blonde without breakage. AND, when she cuts my hair, she listens to what I want better than anyone I've ever been to. I am PICKY but she is the BOMB. I love her and she's never allowed to retire. If you're not a client, you should be!! Price is reasonable for the quality you get, but be sure to call way in advance because she's always booked.

Love this salon - my go to place to keep my hair fabulous! I love the owner (also my stylist), Terri Hoover. She is amazing and always full of ideas! I am in my 50's and she always rocks me out! Love my feathers too!

DidntWork Out. I am really disappointed in the way I spend 140 for highlights and low-lights and my roots were still showing and my color looked exactly the same as it did when I walked in. I told the stylist Mandy I wanted to get the golden tone out of my hair, but that didn't happen. Plus my roots weren't even colored and showed my gray! WTH! Received a call from the salon to see what my experience was, and told her I was unhappy and that they would redo my hair at no cost. But every appt that I could make it to, was booked, and stylist was to go out of town. Was told the manager was going to call me to see if she could redo my hair, but that was over 2 weeks ago. I don't have alot of money to spend on myself alot, and was hoping to make myself feel good with a hair color that I loved, but ended up so unhappy and so upset that no one has called me back. I read ll these reviews thinking I would be going to a great place with great customer service, but I was wrong.

Friendly Staff and a Great Cut. My regular salon was booked solid so I waited until I got to Dallas to get a haircut. I lucked out because I was able to walk right in and get with a stylist. The salon was very clean, a great menu of options and a front desk of women that were very accommodating. The girl gave me a relaxing head massage during my shampoo and followed my hairstyle perfectly. She was quick and efficient and the price that I paid was well worth the cut. If I’m in town again, I’ll certainly come here again.

Rebecca is the best!!!. Everywhere I travel, everywhere I go here, people comment on my hair and want to know where I get it done. The style and color is so perfect for me. She is the best stylist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing!

My favorite hair salon in Dallas. I can easily and with confidence call this my favorite hair salon in Dallas. I've gone to about 15 different ones in this is the only place I've been to in the last for years. They do a great job and it is their attention to detail that I love.

BEST haircuts in the Metroplex. I lived here for over three years before I found Terri and salon. I had basically given up on ever getting a decent haircut since I moved here as I had gotten some pretty awful haircuts with my fine thin hair.

First, Terri gets it because SHE has fine thin hair and second, she is just an amazing stylist/hair artist! Thank God I found this place! great service, great haircuts, great styles...what's not to like?!!! Yes, she and her crew RULE the hairwaves. ;-)

BEST SALON IN DALLAS. I winter out west for several months and just love escaping the Dallas winter. One major faux pas of enjoying the desert days and nights in the winter is NO ARTISTIK EDGE salon....while I continue to entrust my color to REDKEN products only and PUREOLOGY, I sincerely miss my hair stylists and the fantastic services they provide. Thank goodness I'll be back the the Artistik Edge's trusted care in three weeks...personally I only like salons like Terry Hoover's, a salon with employees who she oversees and educates along with her talented manager, Rebecca....I personally don't feel comfortable in salons where they rent booths and come and go like the wind...after all my dad always said a woman's picture frame is her hair and at the Artistik Edge they maintain or creatively design a picture frame that compliments you...thank you Artistik Edge Salon for all that you are (they are activist in supporting good causes like locks of love right now) and all that you do for your clientele
