I took my 1998 Jag xj8 to get checked and was meet with true professional. Kyle one if the service writers showed me on my car what it needed now and what could be done at a later date. I got to use one of their loaner cars for the day at no charge, it was nicer than my car. Thank you to all the staff at Overseas Car Care keep up the good work.
These guys did a great job with the work they did on my car! The paint job they did on the bumper made it appear as if the hit never even happened. Also the parts were fixed and the car seemed good as new. The service advisor Kyle as well as the owner Tony, were great people. They made sure that the job would get finished and done well. I would recommend my friends or anybody for that matter to this place. Fantastic work!
I have a 2005 Range Rover and it has been leaking anti freeze for two weeks and I took it to two different places and they said that I have to replace the engine. A friend told me about Overseas so I decided to call and schedule an appointment. A very friendly and helpful service advisor Perla called me back and tolled my truck there the same day. They gave me a loaner car for free. Overseas found the problem, it was only my radiator was leaking and repair it. I save thousands of dollars. Thanks Overseas. I will be a customer for life.
Here's my tip - get a written contract of exact work to be done. Do nothing over the phone. INSIST on keeping all parts replaced AND ask them to be placed inside new part box. So you know EXACTLY what is inside your car. Maybe you can then google and learn how much you were ripped off - assuming they didnt break something in the process - oh like a clamp or lost screw - you are yet to find out about...
Thanks. This place has done a great job on my car several times. They are nice and courteous at the counter. I dont remember when my car ran this good.
I don't trust them - here's why. I don't trust them after my last visit. My spark plug went out. Had the car towed over there (can't drive with cylinder misfiring). They attempted to get me to do a gasket repair. I declined the repair b.c. they were too expensive. I took the car directly to another shop for the valve gasket repair. Car did not idle properly before or after the second shop worked on it. Furthermore, I'm sure that Overseas damaged my front left gas strut - possibly to keep my car from being easily sold b.c. they may have thought I'd try to sell it without the valve repair. They did not get the business since they were several hundred more than the other shop on the gasket repair. They also wanted 500 for a slight power steering fluid leak, but said I could easily drive it for 6 mos to a year before refilling with more fluid since the leak was slight. WHY would I want to do that when I can get a cheap bottle of Lucas power steering stop leak fluid and not pay them. All Star auto recommended the Lucas fluid instead of the expensive repair. They are dishonest, and I truly believe they disabled my vehicle when I declined the additional work they attempted to sell me. They have always been overpriced when I've comparison shopped (I went there this one time due to towing costs).. Do yourself a favor - if you have a Camry like I do/did, call All Star Japanese Engines and Auto Service on Lindbergh Drive in Addison Tx. (972) 788-4299) and ask for a price before you commit to these turkeys. These other 5 star reviews must not have comparison shopped. Watch out for this bad business.
great honest work. They were very upfront abut the cost and got my approval before beginning repairs. I was very pleased with the work performed and I even thought it was done pretty quickly. I will use them the next time something comes up.
Thanks again!. My car had some troubles and was just barely running. I limped it into this shop and dropped it off. I got a call a few hours later that they just had to put in some sensors and if the estimate was okay the car would be ready before they closed. That was great news and they did do a great job, thanks!
better than the rest. They have taken great care of my car and I have seen them 1 time only. My old mechanic couldnt seem to fix all the problems at once and had me back every few weeks for something else. Overseas fixed everything for one low price and at one time. I will never go anywhere else.
Super. They gave me a good quote over the phone and I felt comfortable bringing it in here. They did the alternator at the quoted price and the car is charging great now.
