This gussied-up chain bustles with singles and families craving Chinese food favorites..
In Short
Towering twin stallions and carved wood screens add majesty and mystery to this stylish restaurant, where well-dressed patrons sip martinis at the bar and families with children feast around large tables or in spacious booths. The menu gives Chinese classics a contemporary tweak; dishes are artfully presented, with many sauces made tableside by servers. Signature plates include diced chicken wrapped in cool lettuce leaves, orange-peel beef with chili peppers, and wok-fried scallops with lemon sauce.
Great healthy food, wonderful atmosphere. I recently sat at the bar for dinner and enjoyed fabulous service and wonderful tasting food. My waiter explained how food prep is done with utmost attention to quality and I believe it. I have eaten at many PF Chang's restaurants and they are generally very consistent in quality -- high quality. The wine by the glass selection is also very good.
Garden of Eden Experience. All three dishes tasty! The Hot Fish and the cool lettuce wraps had me singing with each bit. Dining out in the open of nature with a nice breeze, and a tall, handsome, knowledgeable waiter made my first visit a treasure to remember.
Simply the Best. I am just in love with eveything they offer!!!! highly recommended!!!! Specially the Chicken Lettuce Wraps they are awsome and the Hot Fish is to die for!!!
No way could be the best in Dallas, or in any city. Not worth dining at.. PF Change is horrible. It is one of the worst chain restaurants I've been to. The food is bland, the menu is lacking, and it is WAY overpriced. Absolutely not worth the trip.
Best in Dallas? Puh-lease. How sad that a city that prodes itself on fine dining could possible vote this FACELESS CORPORATE CHAIN "Best Chinese in Dallas". McChang's offers very pedestrian everything, but perhaps it's the seriously misinformed crowds that wait 45 minutes for the very so-so, unimaginative, and rather un-chinese menu that make everyone think this place is worth raving about. If you truly like chain Chinese, here's a clue: Pei Wei is the exact same thing, but cheaper and with no wait. A friend calls Chang's the "Olive Garden of Chinese Cuisine", but that just makes me scared to see what pops up when i search for "Best Italian in Dallas".
Just My Opinion. The crab wontons were delicious & tasteful. The Beef with broccoli was the best I have tasted & I have tasted many. Their lettuce wraps are to die for. And their fried rice was perfect. They are a bit pricy but then you get what you pay for. I reccomend anyone try it at least once & form your own opinion.
Expensive fake chinese food. Comparing with a standard good chinese restraunts, their food is terrible, and way over price. For real food lover, I would not recommend this restraunt. They are just for the look. Honestly, I can make fried rice better than those guys. Fried rice is the basic of chinese food. if they can't even do a good job on that. They are not worth trying. stay away from them. It's just another fake chinese restraunt trying to rib off people.
