FEC is a SCAM company!. I agree with all the negative comments left about this company. They just shut off our electric the other night saying that we had a bill that went unpaid back in July. Here it is Dec and we are just now hearing about it not to mention that their website doesn't reflect what they tell you. Not only is it BS that we can't choose which electric company we want to go with, but these people take advantage of that and screw people over all the time knowing that they can't change providers. I guess getting lawyers involved is the only solution since customer service and satisfaction isn't an important quality to this company!

Not an honest company in my opinion. High bills when I am not even home and AC turned off (travel a lot for work). I live in an energy certified green home and my bills are higher than my old and larger home with a 10 year old AC unit with a different electric company. Bill’s always arrive late if at all and they round up bills to charge more. A monopoly that acts like one. I wish I had done more research before purchasing a new home, look for an ONCOR area and choose your provider. Poor infrastructure as well, my power went out at least once a week for the first 4 months I lived in my new home. They are also rude on the phone with billing issues. Horrific in all ways.

Our Electric Provider for over 12 Years. FEC has always responded promptly to our service requests, even sending a tech out one cold Thanksgiving day to restore service after the line from the pole to our house went bad. As a co-op, FEC shops for energy prices to pass on to its customers and we feel like most months we get a pretty good deal. Our experience to date has been quite satisfactory.

Money Hungry Careless People. Its funny how the past month we havent turned the air on at all, weve kept the windows open and yet our electric bill went up. We live in a 3 bedroom moduler home and our bill rounds out to 300 a month!!! Rediculous....

Huge ripoff. Monopoly.. There is no way in heck I use the amount of electricity they charge me for. I have 40 years experience in electronics and appliance repair. They must have technology to ramp up usage in hight usage times. By that I mean they can adjust how your meter measures KW hours so it reads much more than you used. Ain't technology great ....... For the money mongers.
