Excellent.
We had dinner here and I was very impressed. The only thing you have to get over is that its in an old house. The service and food was fantastic. The staff and owner are very friendly. You are not rushed the wait staff is very intentive but not bothersome. I had their special that night-the escobar, it was fantastic. I highly recommend this place. Trust me you will enjoy the meal. If you like wine they have an excellent selection and I suggest you try their 2002 Hess Select wine.

Cafe in Roanoke sits in three historic houses serving new American cuisine..
In Short
One of the houses Classic Cafe is in are army barracks moved after World War II, while the other is a 19th century creamery. The setting creates an intimate dining experience. The menu offers a variety of dishes from pasta to seafood. Beef tenderloin cuts come in 7- or 10-ounce servings. Seafood options include pecan-crusted ruby red trout that comes with a pecan brown butter.
