Best Indian in DFW
by klware

This is by far the best Indian in DFW. I am a huge fan of Indian after trying numerous other places in DFW I keep thinking Pasand has the best food around. The spices are real and when you order your food hot it isn't dumbed down for American taste buds. The service is efficient, but don't expect mindless small talk. The Irving location and the Richardson location are both excellent choices to satisy your craving for Indian cuisine.
- Pros: Excellent food in a casual setting
- Cons: Service can be a little dry

Pasand is my family's favorite Indian restaurant. Their selection of South Indian dishes (dosas and such) combined with their extensive Punjabi menu is great. I'd strongly recommend the mutter paneer.
good food... need some more variety though by abhay s. at InsiderPages

I liked their buffet.. they need to reduce prices for their dinner entrees though.. also some more variety in buffet will help.. their location is excellent though at corner of beltline and 183.

Thsi restaurant has a nice ambience and serves clean, tasty food. The food isn't nearly as greasy as most Indian restuarants. The wait staff and the owner try to take good care of the customers.
The negatives are its location (far off from most residential neighborhoods in Irving) and a menu that hardle ever changes. They need to be more innovative and come up with new dishes to keep their customers coming back.
PROS: clean food, nice ambience
CONS: location, same old menu items
