Amy always does a terrific job with my hair :) I have been going to her for a while and my hair has never looked better. Other salons definitely wane in comparison... check this one out!

Worst Cut and Experience!

I asked Tim for a trim with no more than an inch to be cut off in the back. WELL, he cut off a good 2-3 inches!! I also needed my bangs trimmed and some framing around my face. I didn't get any framing around my face and still don't know what he was trying to do with my bangs. I had to go to another salon (Avalon-Snider Plaza) to have the cut cleaned up so it would at least lay and style right until it grows out.

When I called Tim to tell him that I was unhappy with my cut and that I had to have another salon clean up the cut he gave me. He became very irrate. He said he gave me a quality cut and that my hair is fried from all the the processing and that I needed 12 inches cut off. I barely have 12 inches left after he cut it and I am a brunette who occassionally has some red highlights added to my hair just around the frame of my face which is just a partial partial highlight. I've maybe had 5 of these in 5 years. Maybe he has me confused with someone else who was upset with his cut. He also told me that he could have and should have charged me for an extra hour because I only had a cut and he had me booked for a cut and color. When I made the appointment he said he only had time for a cut on the day I wanted and could do the color the following week. So, I only booked the cut. When I was explaining this to him he ended up hanging up on me twice. I gave him the benefit of the doubt the first time thinking that my cell phone may have dropped him. But, no, he had hung up on me which he did again. I have never asked for a refund before on a hair cut and only did this time because I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I've never had a cut where I had to fight with my hair to style it but, that's what I got this time with Tim. I've had a few cuts before in the last 20 years where the stylist cut more than what I wanted but, the cut was good. So, I never complained and figured I should have asked them to show me how much they were cutting before they cut. Though I did show Tim with my fingers how much I meant by an inch this time.

!!Stylist Gina!!

Gina gave me just the experience I wanted while cutting my hair, plus a great haircut. You can really tell that she puts her heart into what she does. I felt very comfortable at the salon and with Gina. It was a very tranquil atmosphere. I can honestly say I can't wait for my hair to grow out again to go back to Gina and get another cut!

Gina made me feel so comfortable and pretty!! Very nice and relaxing place, nice people, nice location! What else can you ask for?... I love my new hair, its no longer boring. Now its different and playful! Give her a try!!

Tim did an excellent job. Poor guy my hair is in horrible shape thanks to the last salon I went to, but he fixed everything. He is amazing. I can't wait to go back.

Great Vibe w/ True Pros

My search for a great colorist and stylist is over!! Tim is perfect - he listens carefully to what his clients want, but is willing to contribute his professional suggestions. The best thing - every client in there had completely different (but equally beautiful) looks - from edgy, precision cuts w/ unconventional color to more traditional cuts and natural/corrective color (me :)) this place seems to do it all and do it well. Loved, loved, loved Mike, but the salon as a whole is a friendly professional and peaceful place. I can't wait for my next appointment.

Amy is the best!

Amy has been my hair colorist and stylist for well over a year and I will never let anyone else do my hair again! She has a talent for making me look and feel great! I constantly get compliments on my hair thanks to Amy! She always has a smile and can get me an appointment when I am in a pinch. If you don't give Amy a try you will surely miss out!

Amy at Travis Salon Uptown Rocks!!!!!

I have been using Travis Salon in Uptown for about 8 months now and Amy is out of this world when it comes my cut and color. I constantly get compliments on my hair wherever I go! She is always on time and really takes a consultative approach with her clients. My hair is a total nightmare to cut but she always does a fantastic job. In addition she cuts my daughter's hair so we both look cute at the same time!

My favorite salon ever!

Tim has been doing my cuts and coloring for 8 years. He's a wonderful and talented person and his salon is charming and cozy. He treats me like a queen, always on time and takes his time with me. The hours are very accommodating and the price is right. I also love the Bumble and Bumble products, I get compliments on my hair almost daily and that's surely thanks to Tim and the products because I'm certainly no expert at doing hair.

BEST Salon in Dallas

I love this place! Tim has been doing my hair for about 7 years now and I always feel like a million bucks when I leave his salon! He is a wonderful, caring and expert hairstylist. The shop is beautiful, tasteful, and very welcoming as well!
