not all bad

I had been goin into Scooters for a while, and it was alright.. I really liked my bartender.. everyone calls her Jax. She is the only reason i go.. She makes awsome drinks! But the reset of the place.. not so great. The restrooms leave much to be desired! THey are not clean at all! The clientel there is not so great! They just leave gross messes all over!

The music, not reaslly my style after 9pm. THe hip hop starts in, and well the trashy crowd likes it.. and thats my que to leave! I havent been since dallas passed the no smoking ordianance.. Been spending my cash in a city that doesnt wish to destroy itself! ADDISON!!! GReat places.. THough i can't seen to find a bartender quite like the one at scooters.. She always made me specialty drinks.. Her own recipe!! And i loved it.. But i can't have a smoke in there! And when the cool regulars start to leave, wich they really have, then all thats left is the dealers, and ones who dance to the hip hop.. Not really my style anymore. And the food.. well my bartender made me some good food once, but everytime i get it from a cook, it's rather poor in quality!! This place is goin down the drain!!! I'm too old to hang out in these kinda of places..

Kinda sux!

Food is crappy!!! Service is slow! the bartenders try to get to , but with all the gheto trash yelling at them, it makes it hard for the few decent customers to get served. Oh and the restrooms.. WOW NASTY! toilets overflowing! smells horrible! And just an all around mess! Ive been in the indusrty for a long time, and never worked in a place with bathrooms that bad! THe clintel there is just all trash! Hip hop after nine mixed in with kereoke! BORING! The Dj's stink too! Only good part is playing poker. This place is at the bottom of the list! Maybe a change in ownersip would be best!!! Clearly the owner has no idea what it takes to run a decent bar.. I'll be going Addison from now on.. Try indusrty bar, or maybe sherlocks... Way better places to go! Way better music and clientel! noones doin coke in the bathroom at those places.. But at scooters.. It's the place to buy coke, and any other illegal stuff you want! Yea.. TRASHY!!!

The Best pub I have ever seen

I made a visit to this place some months back. The service was of very high quality .Right from car parking to bar everything was great.The place is located in a strategic location .Every week end I make a visit with my friends . Until now I have no complaints . The pricing too is very nominal .I feel you cant see a better pub in Dallas when you compare it with the Scooters

A perfect place !

It was a great experience going there. We had a problem with one of the customers.The whole issue was handled well by the manager .In most of the pubs where you get into problems the management wont even interfere in the issue. But things were different here.. Other than this the services and amenities were very good.

Good place for new visitors

A staggeringly good pub, almost perfect. Great ales and ciders, food is sublime.You are always made welcome and always made to feel like a local, even if your not!.They respect the customers to a great extent .i did like the way they treated us though we went for the first time we were made to feel comfortable .

hi everybody I made a visit to the Scooters some days back to spend some quality time with my girl friend. Found it very cool for lovers to hang out We both had a great time at the bar . Great service indeed .I had adequate privacy too. Thanks to the Scooters . That was really a memorable date.

Awesome and Attractive

I did pay a visit to the Scooters some months ago .The hospitality was great . The staff were so cordial and friendly that one would hesitate to leave the place . A very good atmosphere to enjoy with your friends . Could not resist from writing this review . The bar too was satisfactory. Over all good enough to come back as many times you wish.

Convincing service

Visited here for the first time at the weekend .Cracking pub with a naval feel.Had a splendid time with my colleagues in the bar . The bartender was polite and served with a smile. I did feel the pricing would be very big . But to my surprise it was very nominal .Less than most of the ill fated pubs where you will be given the cold shoulder.I would definitely come back here.

Recommendable!

The Scooters is one of the local pubs i use and visit at least once or twice a week with friends. we find the food good, mmmm a bit pricey but have always have enjoyed what we have, sorry no complaints on that front. Had a bad pint of HSB recenctly, so i complained and got a fresh one. Staff are always friendly and polite. If anyone has complaints, see the manager, whom i am sure will sort the problem out.I will surely recommend this for my friends.

Simple and Superb!

Always welcoming, friendly, warm, full of humour.

Some nights full of contract workers, others locals, others off duty coppas .Always, always good atmosphere.

The pub is situated on the route to the city centre, so you can imagine how fruity it could get on a weekend.! The staff are so skilled, they retain a freindly, rural type feel, even when heaving full of drunken silly buggers.
