Rafain - Brazillian Steakhouse At It's Finest

by TheCBob

My son took me here for my 55th Birthday dinner.

This, without a doubt is the best Birthday meal I have ever enjoyed. I have traveled the world over and enjoyed cuisine on every continent, except Antarctica. Who would've thought I would find some of the best food an hour from my home?

Starting with the valet service, everyone of the staff were courteous and professional. The right amount of attention was given to us during the meal. The meal - Oh My! The salad bar had so many wonderful choices, but don't get full there. The meat, brought around continuously is perfectly prepared and served as generous as you desire. The House Special is worth blowing a diet for. Roasted Leg-of-Lamb, tenderloin, smoked sirloin, pork, sausage; all mouth watering. Don't pass up the roasted pineapple sprinkled with cinnamon.

If you still find room; the dessert bar will fill in the empty spots - easily.

My experience tonight will be a treasured memory. Without a doubt, I'll build a few more memories here. ;-)

  • Pros: Courteous, professional staff; World class cuisine
  • Cons: None I could see

Truly Authentic Brazilian Steakhouse!

by Refry

My husband and I decided to give Rafain a try. We went there to celebrate Christmas... As a Brazilian, I must say THERE is nowhere else in DFW you can get such great steaks (My favorite was the "costela", or ribs, and the desserts, of course!!!) and awesome treatment (the manager went to our table more than once to make sure we were getting all we liked. I soooo recommend PUDIM (looks like a flan, but it is WAY better) for dessert.

=)

  • Pros: Great location, service, value and quality of food!
  • Cons: Sorry... Couldn't find one....

Great Customer Service, Great Food.

by saverio75

This is a nice upscale place to enjoy a great meal. The service is excellent, the food is the same. Its upscale but still that jean casual feel. We brought our kids and it was a family friendly environment. I would suggested if you have children to go around 5:00PM becuase it starts getting busy around 7:00PM.

The Best Steak House in Dallas

by gutomaran

I really loved the concept( you can see the gauchos slicing the meats in front of you, definitely I love that place!! ). Rafain is my favorite restaurant ever. I`d never seen a service as I`m used to see in some restaurant that I`ve been(Better than Fogo de Chao and Texas the Brazil!!!). The "Picanha" and the "Leg of Lamb" are my favorite meats. Keep going Rafain!!

Rafain is a whole lot better than its other competitors

by dmet

My husband and I love Rafain. The meat selection is great and the seasoning is perfect..meat is always tender...juicy...melt in your mouth good! Their salad bar also has a great selection. Too bad I always end up having no room for dessert since all the desserts look delicious! I would highly recommend this place!

Friendly service, Delicious Food, and Great for Business Events!

by exec000

I have been to Rafain a few times before deciding to take the end of the year party there last year. They reserved a very pretty private room and set the table especially the way I wanted, there was a Brazilian server that was so sweet. The best part was when the gauchos began bringing the meats to the table, everyone went crazy, and meats were spectacular, juicy, and great seasoning! We already have plans to bring the end of the year this year again, especially now that I know they have 2 new private rooms!

Keep this great Brazilian Steakhouse; I know you'll be impress!!! There's also an event coordinator on site.

  • Pros: Beautiful Private Rooms, Great price, Delicious Food!

FANTASTIC BRAZILIAN STEAKHOUSE!!!

by 123brazilian

Simply the best, Trust me! No other restaurant compares to the food, service and atmosphere of Rafain's. The meat are always so juicy and cooked the way you request it...the salad bar even has sea food and hot dishe items! Desserts bar is to die for, there are so many different brazilian desserts and some american cakes and pies.

As I read their history, it seems like they are in business in Brazil for about 50 years now and are now spreading through the US.

I highly recommend it, you guys will simply love it!

Outstanding Brazilian Steakhouse!

by exec704

I lived in Brazil for many years and know Brazilian food well. Known as a "rodizio" (rotation) "churrascaria" (steakhouse), Rafain would be considered top-notch in Brazil. It is just as good as the so-popular Fogo de Chao, but more reasonably priced. The salad bar is a visual as well as a gastronomic treat, and I salivate just thinking of the meats. Try the "Picanha", considered the choicest cut of beef by Brazilians, available in normal, garlic, and my favorite, "spicy" (Rafain's version of "Tex-Braz"). The filet mignon, "alcatara" and pork tenderloin are also high on my list. The chicken breast was just a tad too dry for my taste, but my wife thought it was just right. Try the Brazilian version of beef stroganoff served with rice rather than noodles - yummy! Service was exceptional - the staff seemed almost telepathic. Beware of the Brazilian national drink, the Caiparinha - you'll have a hard time stopping after just one! Coming after the salad and all those meats the dessert bar is cruel and unusual punishment - but I cant resist the caramel pudding! Rafain is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in Dallas.

  • Pros: Service, salad bar, skewered meats and desserts

What a Treat! I am now a Brazilian!! It just keeps getting better!!!!!!!!!!!!

by clsheppard

Never have I experienced such a wonderful atmosphere of family, graciousness, courteousness and fantastic service at any restaurant in the DFW area. The food and SERVICE has always been SPECTACULAR!!!! My family and I can't get enough of the Brazilian cuisine, we eat there at least two times a week. It is always the first choice to take clients and friends. I'm personnally offended that someone with the slightest ability to comprehend the cost of doing business would be so very negative and not understanding. i.e 20 guest separate checks, a guarantee of a credit card for reserving an area for 20 guest. Hey guys your bad experience was based upon your unreasonableness.
