Vive Voila, finally a place in Dallas that produces decent bread. Apple walnuts, Sourdough, Ciabatta and Baguette they all taste great. Forget Ms. Bairds, this is the real stuff!!!
- Pros: Good service, cheap prices, quick and healthy
- Cons: Nothing I can think off, maybe not enough seating inside.

The best crooissants outside of Franch

My husband and I were blown away with the flakey croissants -- the best we've tasted outside of France. They are worth the drive! The other breads are lovely also -- with the taste of French flour. It's expensive, but well worth the splurge now and then.

My godmother told me about Voila when it first opened. I frequent the restaurant/bistro at least once a week. It's great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Fantastic crepes on the weekends! I recommend the banana and nutella. It's also fab. for coffee. I love to go grab a loaf of their freshly made bread for my dinner guests at my house. I always give Voila their due credit though :) I love the kid's options too!!!! Great place all around!
Great Food.....Bad service

I love the homemade pastries and the wonderful sandwiches!!! Be aware though, not overything there is homemade. The desserts are brought in from a company and the soups are from another eatery. Even though I would reccomend this for the yummy Bearclaws and Breakfast Sandwiches, be aware the service is never timely and many times inaccurate.
- Pros: Coffees are WONDERFUL!!! Great Breakfast!!!
- Cons: NOt all homemade and service is VERY BAD

Very good food. The Croissants REALLY are worth driving up to Allen for. The Ambiance is nice even though when you sit on the patio the view is busy McDermott Drive traffic whizzing by, which makes conversation a bit tricky sometimes. The staff is very friendly and accommodating for the most part...there are a few rough spots, but overall very nice!

This bakery produces high quality Breads, Pastries, Croissants and Viennoiserie. The Pain au Chocolat is better than in Paris. They also have delicious Sandwiches and Crepes on the weekends. Highly recommended.

Amazing ! This is a rare one . The food here has soul seldom seen in the corporate-lame watered down world we live in. The grilled chicken caeser sandwich is the incredible.

I could not disagree more with Sophie F. Voila's products are superb and the service has always been very friendly. You can't find better breads and sandwiches in the Dallas Metroplex. I am sooo happy that they are in North Dallas, I drive 30 minutes just to pick up a baguette.
If you prefer food from chain operations this place is not for you, but if you want to eat artisan high-quality products don't hesitate to go there you won't be disappointed.
Best bread, pastries & croissants I've found in DFW! by Charlotte T. at InsiderPages

Okay, I'm a bread-lover. I admit it. Never really took to the no carb lifestyle. And I've had some really good bread in my life, but this bakery in Allen is amazing.
Their chocolate croissants are pure decadence. They get everything right...down to the slighty-moist ganache ribbon running through the pastry.
Their tarts re amazing. Their sandwiches are wonderful. Their ice cream is even European (spaghetti style) and whoever heard of ice cream and hot chocolate pudding? But oh my goodness, it's GOOD...
Recently, when I was in, they were testing new crepes they're adding to the menu soon...more goodness...
Only negatives are the sometimes less-than-helpful counter help and their hours -- wish they were open later in the evening.
PROS: awesome incredible pastries & bread!
CONS: counter help isn't very helpful sometimes / wish they had later hours
