Humiliated

by jnk10379 at Citysearch

I went to basil thai with my cousin. We were very frequent customers and loved the food until we ordered for padthai. For some reason, it smelled bad - I meant really bad. When I told the lady she made some kind of annoying face and took the plate. She did not charge us for it but refused to serve us any thing else. That was humiliating. I stopped going there since then. Very rude behavior. They should learn to accept feedbacks. If the food was stinking of some kind of fish then they should know it. I walked out and will never go back ever. They will be losing more customers in this case.

  • Pros: usually good food
  • Cons: no customer service

Best Drunken Noodle

by soniakate at Citysearch

I love the purple chairs! The basil fried rice and panang curry are two of my favorite dishes. My boyfriend loves the Drunken noodle (Pad kee mow). The price is very reasonable. Too bad they don't open later on Friday.

  • Pros: Reasonable price. Relaxed atmosphere.
  • Cons: Closed on Sunday.

Great food. Excellent service.

Two thumbs up for the food and service. Normally, the background music is nice but today when I had lunch there, they were playing country western music. Country western music with Thai food? What were they thinking? Maybe it was a joke.

Great Thai food for lunch spot

by rmantel at Citysearch

The food is wonderful and the price is amazing for lunch. The chef/owners are health conscious. They use fresh ingredients, cook with very little oil, use only white chicken meat and offers brown rice. Service is wonderful and the staff are knowledgeable about the food (with one exception - possibly a new staff member).

I normally do carry-out to to-go during dinner because of the afternoon sun which seems to invade everything seat in the house (unless you arrive after 8 pm or dine alone and sit with your back to the sun).

  • Pros: Great food, Friendly service, Right price
  • Cons: Too much sun/light

Great thai food in Irving, TX.

by zgadiwan at Citysearch

Tastes like home cooked thai food. Has a large menu to suit everyone's taste buds. Good service and reasonable rates are a good plus. I would highly recommend not just lunch, but definitely the dinner entree's. Yum!
