So I had to share. I was given a gift card to glow for my birthday. I have gone there before but it has been a long time. I booked the package for a facial, massage and pedicure. Iriene is still the best at facials. I swear she takes years off me. They had a new therapist there named Holly, (I had seen Terah before). This massage was so much better than Terah's. It was much more detailed and I felt great for days. I had a glass of wine and the was off for my pedicure with a young girl. She was sweet, but I don't recall the name. She did my nails and they looked good in the fall color she helped me pick. Overall it was a wonderful day and I left feeling like I had a great birthday gift.

I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone. They do have two people who are good with hair cut (as far as I know) but the managment ....OMG.....awful. They truly don't care about customer. I have tried everything in this place. Nails, Massages, Facial .....etc. and hoping I go to this place for all my needs, since is convineatyly located close to my house, but they dont have real professionals. An 18 years old does the nails who has no experience and you walk out of there with paint all over you. That is just an example, most of them seem like they just got out of school (if that). BUT they sure know how to charge you. They charge you just the same as a very high end and professional place, maybe even more. I used to go to Niemen Marcus salon in Dallas and they sure are cheaper. Just avoid this place if youcan.....there are planty other salons who are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than this place.

After spending $300 to be criticized by my stylist, I have no glowing reviews. In fact, my experience was deplorable. I arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early, sat in my stylist's chair and when asked what I wanted I said,"Blonde, lighter or darker, than what I have now, it doesn't matter. Just something that will cover up my grey roots." Off in a panic my stylist went and came back and said, "OK, when you call in, you need to do a better job at explaining to the receptionist what you want." I knew I had two hours and scheduled a full color and a cut. I explained this to my stylist, but somehow she thought I wanted lowlights and highlights. I STILL HAVE GREY ROOTS. During my appointment, I was quiet and patient, and even told the stylist that I could just do the color or cut and could even wait between her clients or leave and come back. I said this only because she made me feel as though I was a HUGE inconvience. Annoyed she said "NO" and continued with the lowlights and highlights that I never asked for in the first place. During my appointment my stylist reminded me three times that my appointment was going to cut into her manicure and pedicure she had scheduled two hours after my appointment. So, in the end, I paid $300 to feel worthless. I still have grey roots and platinum blonde highlights and unflattering lowlights that make me look like a 2002 Christina Agulera video. Needless to say, I was pleasant, I gave tips, I even took the upsale for shampoo and conditioner that leaves my hair too oily. I told my stylist that the brand she gave me leaves my hair oily, but it was pushed anyway. 1 for GLOW 0 for me. $300 down the drain!!!!!!!!!! Oh...and i wasn't even asked if I wanted a glass of water or a coffee. But I was told that I didn't make the right appointment and reminded that my presence was an inconvience. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AND I STILL HAVE GREY HAIR

I must say wow! I had a massage the other day by their massage therapist Holly. She was excellent. She asked me about what types of discomfort and pain I was experiencing before starting the massage. She also asked me what I wanted to work on. This was great. Most therapist just do what they want, but she listened to my needs and followed them. I had a deep tissue which was exactly what I needed sitting at a desk all day and with being a runner. Try her out. The front desk staff is very friendly and made sure I enjoyed my massage. The room was clean and upscale. It is nice to find this kind of place outside of the Dallas traffic. I am going back for another treatment.
Pros: none so far
Cons: great massage

I recently went into Glow to purchase a gift certificate for my wife's birthday. It was nice to see such a clean modern salon in the heart of Las Colinas. The staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting services my wife might like. She received a facial which she loved! And she has since returned to get hair services there as well. Gentlemen take note: Happy wife = Happy home! So be sure to get your next birthday, anniversary or Mother's day gift from Glow Salon. You will thank me later.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, great menu, and super friendly staff.
Cons: None yet : )

I moved 1700 miles from the best hair dresser I ever had. I had grown out my hair and was finally happy with it (girls you know what I mean), and I was not ready to trust just anyone with cutting it. I got a referral from my friend who's hair always looks great. Tambrina amazed me. Not only did she take the time for me to tell her exactly what I wanted, but after I mentioned my eyebrow situation, she motivated me and stuck with me over an eight week grow out period! She has an astounding eye for shape and cuts that will compliment your personal facial features. She gives great makeup tips as well. I am a very casual person and she had great advice for everyday as well as a night out. I just got a cut and color today and my husband can't keep his hands off of me! Thank you Tambrina! If you are new ot the area or just need a new hairdresser, no matter your style, Tambrina is the perfect fit.

I get a facial at least once a month. I started getting facials by Irina in December 2007, and since then I haven't had any problems with my acne. My skin has changed dramatically, for the better. The atmosphere is relaxing. Not only does she do a great job but she also explains what treatments are necessary and why. She is very knowledgeable and an expert aesthetician. I've recommended her to many of my friends and family. The customer service is excellent and they offer a large variety of services. If your looking for a place to get a great facial or any other services glow and spa is the spot!!!
Pros: Service
Cons: N/A

I'm happy I found Glow and Tambrina. Tambrina has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 6-8 months now. She listens to exactly what I want. She has also done my makeup for a special night out ~ loved it. She's very talented.

I just moved here a few weeks back. I love my facials/messages because I work hard all week and this is my relaxation. My appoinment was at 9am. You have to give a credit card to hold the appoinment. I completely understand and agree. I arrived 15 minutes early to be courteous. I had no expectation that I would start my appointement early just wanted to do the right thing. While this sounds picky to some, my time is valuable too. At 9:03 I went up to the girl and let her know that I was not going to wait at this point since the girl did not show up yet. I was already stressing and quite honestly feeling as if they seem to have enough business that I would not be important. I did not want to be rushed during my facial so that she could "catch up" The response was "well, we don't open until 9am" ??? Hello, my appoinment is at 9 and she has not arrived. She then stated, she just arrived. SO? by the time she gets set up and ready for me, it will be 15 minutes into MY 100.00 appointment. So lets understand. To make an appoinement the customer must give a credit card number, if they don't show you get charged 50% of the service but your lady can show up late, charge you the full amount and shorten your facial? A pretty looking Salon with no substance. To be fair, I will say all the stylist's were there waiting for their customers before 9am.
Pros: pretty and clean
Cons: poor customer service

I followed Debbie to Glow when it opened - and I am so happy I did. I totally trust her with my cut and color. She always listens and does an awesome job. Not to mention how much fun she is! As far as the salon itself, it's very nice, great products, and friendly staff. I recommend Glow to all my friends.
Pros: Nice atmosphere, fun people
