Great food and comfortable atmoshere

This cafe is perfect for settling in with my laptop and doing a little surfing while having a meal. I can also bring my Yorkie with me if I sit on the patio. The menu items I liked best were the pecan crusted chicken, the pizza, and the hummus is really good. If the owner is around he will adjust the menu to suit your tastes- just ask. The desserts are huge- better to share those. This is a casual place-very friendly.

• Pros: friendly staff, good service, good food
• Cons: parking- DO NOT park under the trees unless you are prepared to wash your car- the birds are brutal.

Windows of this corner restaurant glow like a beacon. Rotating work by local artists livens up nondescript decor. Starters include roasted red bell pepper humus, sesame basted beef and chicken skewers, and spicy Mediterranean cheese dip. Standout entrees are blue cheese stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon and the pecan-crusted grilled pork chops. Pecan pie served a la mode is a sweet ending as are the chocolate covered bananas rolled in almonds.
