Best Bakery. I love Society Bakery. I only wished I had discovered them before I had gotten married so I could have had them make my wedding cake. Their baked goods are the best. I always order birthday cakes from them- and the recipients of said cakes are always thrilled- with the flavor, moistness, design, etc. I stop by regularly for their cupcakes, whoopie pies, cookies-either for my family or to take as dessert for potlucks. Everyone I know who has tried Society is hooked on them! Now I live only 1 block from them and boy is that trouble! lol! I would definitely recommend the Brooklyn Blackout Cupcakes and order a Ding Dong cake at some point-these two items I have not seen available anywhere else---I am not a huge chocolate fan but, these two cakes are the best and make me crave chocolate! Oh, they have heavenly homemade Whoopie Pies! ---to die for!!!! Got to get some of those too!! Of course, everything there is wonderful and oh! their frosting is so good! Not that weird, overly sweet stuff that is on some grocery store cakes. If the service is ever off I have not noticed because the cakes are so worth it. Actually, I have always been pleased with the service. Plus, they give a free cupcake on your birthday! Okay! I need to walk over and get a yummy Italian Cream cupcake now that I have a craving from all this Society Bakery talk........…
I'm so HAPPY you are in Medical City Hospital!. I just found out you opened a new location in Medical Ciry Hospital and I'm jumping for joy! You are much closer to me now! I don't know what I like more - the bread pudding whoopie pies or the chocolate chip cookies or the red velvet cupcake or wait - the m and m cookies, or maybe the italian cream cupcake, or maybe the lemon squares. I'm drooling at the mouth right now.…
IN LOVE WITH YOUR SWEETS!.
Beyond the amazing sweets and display cakes, the service is attentive, courteous, charming, and welcoming!!
The Pecan Praline Cupcake is to die for, oh and the giant M&M cookies are awesome, I love to microwave them and have glass of cold milk, gotta try this!! I mean for the TEXAS SIZE of their sweets, their prices are very reasonable.
Definitely...they know what they serve and how to do it!…
Not helpful at all. I called Society Bakery today to see if they could make a cake for a wedding shower this Saturday. I do realize it is late in the game to be ordering a cake but I wanted to give them a call because I had heard good things about the cakes and the images on the web site look good as well. When I called I was informed that they just stopped taking orders for Saturday - no biggie as I expected that may be the case. However, when I asked if there was another bakery in the area they could recommend that I try I was told they do not recommend any other bakery and I'd need to search for one on my own. Based on the attitude I received from the lady on the phone I will find another place to go for not only this cake but every other one I'll ever need.…
NOT ME!! NEVER AGAIN!.
I took my two children there this past week for a treat. Kids like to look at things, not touch things, but look at things to make up their minds what they want.
We had been there maybe 5 minutes and the lady working there had asked 7 times... "Made up your minds yet"? I told her they were trying to decide and her response was "You're lucky we aren't busy because we just can't waste this much time on one customer!"
Well we got their treats, one cupcake and one cookie. My daughter ate part of the cupcake and said mom I just can't eat anymore, it just doesn't taste good, I tasted it and have to agree, it certainly wasn't worth the trip and as far as the cookie, just get a bag of M&M's much less expensice and better flavor too.
Guess we are just used to the quailty bakeries, with good customer service and cakes that don't look like they are created by students of a decorating school.
I didn't see one original looking cake on display, all wedding cakes were designed the same.
ACE OF CAKES they will never be........ and they need to take customer service lessons.…
So CUTE! SO Delicious!. I have been in several time and have brought many many friends. It's like the cutest neighborhood bakery I've ever seen. The lemon bars are to die for! My mom, who lives in Austin, begs me to bring them to her. Everyone is so darling and ready to help out. You can tell they love their place!…
Will never eat again!!!. Not worth the calories!!!!! At least at sprinkles you know its going to cost you a ton of calories but its soooo worth it! With society bakery you can feel that fat in your mouth and going down your throat!! Sooo gross!!! The people working there were not friendly and looked like they hated their life! If the people working there would have at least givin some kind of customer service a smile or "hello how can I help you" I would not have written this review! Next time I crave a cupcake I will buy the box kind because it will be a hell of a lot better than this place!…
Most Amazing Cupcakes in the World. I love SB cupcakes. They are so good. They must make them with a lot of love. The icing takes the cake. It is the best tasting. They must use like 50 lbs of butter. My husand and I visit every once and a while and we love it. We will go back again and again. They are so much better than Sprinkles, The Cupcakery and Dimples. They win best cupcakes In Texas and possibly the world.…
Best wedding cake ever!. Roshi was so accomodating and had no problem changing the cake decoration a couple of times. She made herself available even when the store was closed. We got to try all kinds of flavors when deciding what to pick and all were delicious, the icing is so good you can drink it! We decided on vanilla and chocolate layers because the icing really made the cake so going with traditional flavors seemed like a good choice and it was! Everyone had good things to say about the cake.…
