Walking in is an experience in itself. I was overwhelmed by a well-thought-out Interior Design, i.e. leather table tops, black and white pictures framed all over the place and fantastic art work, perfect lighting, visible wine room, plasma TV's, a quaint spot I have been hoping Dallas would get. This is a place where you would see the likes of Frank Sinatra just hanging around. Though the big, corporate, upper-scale dining spots have their place, this is my place selection. "Lucky" as the Bartender is called is by far the most talented Bartender I have ever met putting un-needed flare aside. His classic cocktail knowledge and drink creations apperently draw as much of a crowd as the food! The 2nd Bartender "Steve" walked up, introduced himself and proceeded to make the BEST "Perfect Rob Roy" I have ever had. I won't admit how many I had to have! The Wine List is a reason to go by itself. With Dom, Dominus, Heitz, Chateau d'Yquem and other recognizable names by the glass, I was speechless. Though they had other great wines by the glass for much less in price, I had to try Dominus and Chateau D'YQuem. Who wouldn't want to?! On to the food, Chef Amador really scored with the Prince Edward Island Black Mussels with organic tomatoes, wild fennel, fresh herbs, white wine broth, herb garlic crostini and the Fresh Shellfish Tower, WOW! It had jumbo lump crab meat, fresh lobster, Gulf shrimp, cold water clams, oysters served chilled on a bed of shaved ice served with a horseradish-cocktail sauce. They mean it when they say "JET FRESH"! No kidding. For dinner, I had a hard time deciding, but the waiter recommended the Wood Fired Veal Chop. It was served with creamy polenta, sautéed wild mushrooms and some sort of barolo sauce that was incredible. Be sure to try the Classic Apple Tarte Tatin with Double Creme Fraiche. All I can say is that it was overwhelmingly wonderful. Service, Food, Wine, Atmosphere Rocked! Highly Recommended...

Pros: If you have to wait, the bartenders are incredible as are the drinks!

Cons: Definitely make a reservation!

This was my second visit to The Club and the continued maturing of this restaurant is a real asset to the Dallas restaurant scene. Having spent the majority of my adult life living in NYC, I was excitied to hear that a 21 Club like restaurant was opening in Dallas. We need small, cozy, quality place to dine, where the food is great and the customers are friendly and clubby. The Club has certainly brought this atmosphere to Dallas. On my first visit I was estatic to find Enam from The Mansion at the door. The food was good, but not great. This Saturday I had a dinner party for 6 and when we arrived Enam introduced my party to the new chef, Amador Mora, who was the chef at the fabulous Trece, and now is at The Club. Amador's food was as good as any I have eaten in Dallas. He created a jumbo shrimp salad for us which was devine, one of my guest had a special ravioli and several orderd the organic salad. All in all from start to finish the food, service and ambiance was just what I had hoped and surely different from most Dallas fine dining restaurants. I was so pleased I made a reservation for this upcoming Thursday. I hope it is as good as my last visit.

Pros: Food, Service and Ambiance

Cons: Sometimes tough to get reservations

I came to this restaurant with the notion that this was another run of the mill dining establishment in an office building. As soon as I walked in I was enamored by tthe sheer brilliance of the room-extremely attractive and wonderful appointments. The very proffessional and affable manager escorted me to me table and even asked if I had a preference. I had no idea that I was in for a monumental dining experience. The service was very friendly and knowledgable, and the food was delectabale. I had a four course menu, which consisted of a light rustic soup, half a portion of divinely cooked whole wheat fettucini and marinara, Rib Eye(cooked to perfection), and a cheese course. The wine accompaniments were very appropot, and the list pricing very approachable. They also have a half bottle selection, which to me is very important when I go out to dine. The staff was very gracious and brought my car around when I was ready to leave, needless to say more people should experience dining at The Club.

The Club is a breath of fresh air to Dallas restaurants. My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversay at The Club. The maitre d' began our evening of being pampered by giving me a gigantic bear hug and my husband a friendly handshake. Being a little early for our reservsation, Eddy, the bartender entertained us with his beverage knowledge during our brief wait for our table. The service was top of the line and no details were missed. The Souothside Fillet was juicy and cooked perfectly and the Hailbt was light and refreshing plus,...the best mussels I have eaten in quite some time. The chef stopped at our table to introduce himself which made us feel very special. The pampering continued even as we left and our watistaff bid us goodby. The maitre d', once again, gave me one of those bear hugs and walked us out to the valet. As downtown residents, we look forward to making this a regular dining place with our friends and family.

So many places in Dallas are the same old, same old. I was so glad when the I got the chance to experience the Club - it rejuvenated my desire to dine out. With its glamorous atmosphere and elegant presentation, gives the feel of a modern day supper club, like Frank Sinatra might walk in the door as a regular. I'll Definitely be going back... and bringing friends.

Upon arrival we waited at the bar after having a reservation ( 15 min). We asked to see a menu at the bar before being seated and it took 10 mins to produce one. All wine recommendations were the most expensive ones listed on their menu. Service seemed very insincere and pretentious.. The food was nothing to rave about (the ravioli). This is not Dallas in 2008, maybe 1988,this place better get better soon but they've had since fall!!!

Terrible service! Over priced!!! Calamari was good, but sauces were bland. Dover Sole was overcooked and dry. Asparagus was large and tough.

Pros: Pretty restaurant

Cons: POOR service and food lacking in quality

Insider Tips

Where to Sit

If you are out for a romantic night, be sure to request a banquette in the back room. The booths in the front have an unobstructed view of the plasma TV behind the bar which may prove too distracting.
