What an amazing group of ladies!!! My professional makeup artist was Tisha and I just love her. Not only was she totally professional but she is a wonderful artist as well. I felt like Cinderella on the day of my wedding. Previously, I was a bridesmaid in Julie's wedding a great friend of mine's who used Elan's services. This was the first I had heard of Elan Makeup Studio 2 1/2 years ago. Since then I have formed an addiction for airbrush tanning..you can't beat it!!! Much better than mystic tan and fades beautifully. Thanks Elan from your life long customer:) Leslie L

Anita is hands down the most professional makeup artist I have ever worked with. She did the makeup for my wedding, and did EXACTLY what I asked for in my hair and makeup. She was on time, and took all the stress away on my wedding day. She also did my mother's makeup and my bridesmaids, and we were all very impressed with her work. I highly recommend her.

We purchased the wedding package that included a make-up lesson, trial run, the bridal portrait and wedding day hair/makeup for bride and 2 attendants. It was a very expensive package, but one we were willing to pay to get peace of mind for my daughter on the biggest day of her life. I wanted that day to be a beautiful experience for her, I wanted her to be "queen for a day". Anita said she would personally be her "artist." My daughter gave Anita pictures of the hair she wanted. Anita did the hair/makeup for the trial run and bridal portrait, it was great. On the day before the wedding, we called Anita to make sure everything was still on track, Anita assured us everything was great, she would see us the next day. On the wedding day, a "Rachel" appears carrying a black satchel. We had hired a videographer who we did not know whose name was Rachel, so we assumed she was the videographer. "Oh, no, she says, "I am here for Anita. She has another wedding that she is doing today." The next words out of her mouth were, "Now, do you have any pictures you can show me of hairstyles?" We were soooo upset. My daughter had given the pictures of the hairstyles she liked to Anita to be put in her "file." So we had nothing! Anita didn't even make any notes of the colors of the makeup she had used on my daughter, so it was all just a big guess. Rachel ended up doing fine on the hair, but the makeup was way too light, which we didn't notice at the time, so my daughter had "white-face" pictures. We had paid $3500 for a photographer, and had white-face b/c of the makeup artist. When I called Anita, she told me that she was sick that day. Rachel had specifically said Anita was doing another wedding on that day. Please, if you want peace of mind on your wedding day, DO NOT USE ELAN STUDIO. It wasn't Rachel's fault, she had never seen my daughter before, so it was like a trial run for her. Anita Haar took this beautiful day and turned it into a nightmare.

Cons: VERY UNRELIABLE. DIDN'T SHOW UP ON WEDDING DAY.

I went to visit Elan for an Airbrush tan and they were professional and reasonable. Every time I have a special occasion or just a reason to have nice bronzy legs I use Elan Make-Up Studio for airbrush tanning.

I was referred to Elan Studio and Met with Anita Haar for a consultation. She was very professional, knowledgeable and had creative up to date ideas on how to do my hair and make-up for my wedding. The day of my wedding, the hair/make-up artist, arrived at my home at the contracted time. She did hair and makeup for me and my wedding party. Everyone was extremely pleased with the results. Our hair and make-up lasted all night. I would highly recommend Anita Haar and Elan Studio

Elan did wedding day makeup for me and my maid of honor in October 2007. We were both very pleased with the looks designed for us. We received many compliments about our makeup, and it looked very natural in our photographs and on video. The looks lasted all night--through the afterparty. The makeup artist was a pleasure to work with and very professional as well as punctual for our meetings before the wedding and the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend Elan.

I got married on April 12, 2008. I saw an ad in D Wedding for Elan Make- up Studio. I called and set up an appointment with Anita Haar. I noticed immediately she had flexible hours to meet me after 5:30pm and during the weekend. She thoroughly explained exactly was she intended to do on my wedding day. I had the choice to have bridal pictures taken, or have my mother and sister's make-up done. I was impressed that she gave me options on my contract. Anita gave me a full "trial run" as if it were my wedding day. It was so nice to see how my make up and hair was going to look on my big day. I hear so many horror stories about make up and hair, so I was so fortunate to find a trusted and experienced gal. She is so sweet and very passionate about her career. I highly recommend her to anyone. I already have girls calling me after looking at my photographs and asking me who did my hair and make-up. My biggest compliment I got is now natural my make-up looked. She actually made a custom foundation for my skin tone. Lastly, it was a bonus to have the same person to my hair and make-up. I was very happy with Elan Makeup. They did my wedding portraits and they turned out wonderful! They also did me, my bridesmaids, mother of the groom and mother of bride hair and makeup on the day of the wedding and it was perfect! I will suggest them to all my friends who get engaged in the future!

I used Elan Make-Up for my wedding day. It was amazing. I made a appt. and went in to discuss the details of my big day. I told them exactly what I wanted and exactly what I did not want. When I went back for my trial run they made me look wonderful. I am 100 % pleased with my experience. I would recommend them to anyone. When you go in ask for Anita. She does a great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used Elan Make-up Services after a friend of mine used them for her wedding. I too used them for my wedding for both hair and make-up. My artist (Rachael) was fantastic!! I have heard nothing but good things from this studio. They are professional and do a fabulous job. I'm very pleased with my make-up session for both my bridal portraits as well as the wedding day. I would certainly recommend to any one. I may in fact go back for one of their make-up lessons as well!!
