My husband and I went on a spree on month and decided to try the three Brazilian steakhouses in Dallas. We have decided that this is the best. The salad bar alone can fill you up. They offer some of the freshest produce. My husband loves the salmon and I love the lobster bisque. Try not to fill up and take it slow because when you start sampling the meats, it is hard to stop. If you don't like red meat they offer chicken, pork and lamb as well. The restaurant is beautiful inside as well and they have a great wine list to top it all off. I promise you, don't go to the others, this is the best

Have been many times, love meat but the last time the gauchos seem to be upset, didn't answer questions I took two friends from Canada for the first time and were no impressed with the service. Love the bananas and the salad bar.

I am a meat man!!! I LOVE STEAK! I LOVE BEEF!! THIS PLACE IS A BEEF MAN'S PARADISE!!! You just keep eating and eating and eating ~8 different luscious juicy out-of-this-world cuts of beef until you just can't get another bite down (or until you feel that you are about to give birth to a Ford Explorer).
PS. The chicken, pork, and lamb are also good but...
The salad bar is also incredible; but take my advice: fill up on the meat before stuffing your face with salad. Some may think it pricey, but ~ 45-50 on a basic dinner here is well worth it!!!
THE COFFEE....FABULOUS!!!
THE SERVICE.... GET A BRAZILIAN OR LATINO WAITER!!!
THE AMBIANCE....TO DIE FOR!!!!
DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!!!
Tastiest meat around

My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant on a weeknight after shopping for lighting nearby. We had just moved to the Dallas area from Los Angeles, and we were missing LA when we saw the flames calling to us. We didnt have reservations but got seated right away. Ive read other reviews that say this is not a child friendly place, but I have to disagree. At the time my daughter had just turned one, and she thought people coming around with food was like a game she was the star of. All the waiters were so nice to her, and when our bill came there was no charge for her food or drink. It was a good surprise. Weve eaten at a couple of other similar Brazilian restaurants and the meat at Texas de Brazil remains the tastiest to date.
- Pros: Mouth watering meat overdose awaits.
- Cons: Pricey if you’re on a budget.
LOTS of food...ugh!

Ever get a meat headache? You might here. It's got a good variety salad bar and lots of meat. Fried bananas were good (used to clense the palat so they say). I think there were about a dozen different types of meat to try from ribs, to pork, to steak, to filets etc. all with spices all pretty good. Bring an appitite because you'll eat a lot! Not a place to go to just nibble or pick. They give you a disk, one side green to say "Give me foooood", the other side red to say "Ugh, i've got a meat headache...give me a few minutes". Worth a try!
Nice place to eat-What a surprise!!!

We got a gift certificate for Christmas for this restaurant. We kind of had a hard fime finding it & it looked from the outside like it was not going to be worth the trouble, WRONG. We really enjoyed the food, it was tasty to say the least. The waiter explained their policies on gift certificates & gave us suggestions on what to eat. We went on a Sunday afternoon after church so it was not as crowded as I think it would be say on a Saturday night, so my suggestion is go early & just ENJOY!!!
- Pros: Good food & helpful waiters
- Cons: The location is not too great & kind of small.
Meat, meat, meat, meat meat

Soo much meat. Great food, good atmosphere. So-so staff.
I can't really put my finger on it, but on multiple occassions I've felt discriminated against when I come here because I'm not over 30. The service seems to not be as good for younger people, even with your green card showing servers will walk right by you. Another bad thing about this place is that they sell coke by the little baby bottle (my pet peeve). How you gon' serve me some deliciously seasoned meet makin me all thirsty an' such then charge me $5 a pop (literally, a soda pop). I recommend getting iced tea.
I recommend going to the other place right down the street on the left ;-) you know...Fogo de "Show" Me the Meat! Much better service.
- Pros: Meat
- Cons: Staff, and Coke by the baby bottle
Original location of what many consider the best of the continuous-service Brazilian steakhouses.

In Short
The beige exterior houses a cool, quiet bar bathed in blue light and an exquisite dining room framed by brick archways, set off by a stunning tropical-flower spray. The churrascaria ("grill house") was born from the open fires of Brazilian gauchos, exported to Texas as a fixed-price feast. All manner of meats are custom-carved from skewer to your plate, only moments off the grill. Vegans can play along, too--the 40-item salad bar is plenty.
