Love love love this place!!!!!

by wendyyork at Citysearch

I love this restaurant! The pizzas the fish dishes and oooohhh the spinach salad is the best!!!!! They have another restaurant also on Lovers lane called La Pasena and they carry some of the same dishes, so when I am on the road I can get the same great pizza and spinach saled that I love at anotnios on lovers lane as well. You have GOT to try the bananna pie! They bake all of their own desserts and this is hands down the best banana pie I have EVER had. Love the patio in the spring, the bar after work , and the dining room for any time. Lunch , snack or dinner it's the best, best best!

  • Pros: Italian food the way it should be! Back to the authentic italian ways!
  • Cons: none!

Great Pasta and Atmosphere in Addison

by marleneoneill27 at Citysearch

I found this place by looking on city search for great pasta in Addison. It was fabulous! The host at the front was extremely friendly and funny and food was great! We all had pasta dishes and started with the carpaccio. I definitely recommend it. And, I will definitely be returning!

From Florida

by bck814 at Citysearch

My wife and I traveled from the Florida Keys where we call home dreading a long business week. Tired we got a refferal by our hotel to try the Italian food at Antonio, we didn't expect to see such a great neighborhood place. We had planned on sitting in the dining room but decided to remain in the bar. The drinks were amazing, the food was great and the later we stayed we had such a wonderful time we wanted to keep drinking. The bartender, her name was Shelbi, we just loved her. She was funny, witty, great service, and seemed to have a wonderful following of friends and neighbors that loved her also. We felt very at home. Greatly enjoyed the experience with the service, quality of food and cocktails. Our experience made a dreaded trip all worth the while. We will definetly be back and also recommend to our annual meeting planner to do our next dinner at Antonio! I hope the bar is big enough for us all! Thanks again!

  • Pros: Never had so much fun.....
  • Cons: Had so much fun but enjoyed the cocktails a little too much!

Thank you and your staff

by Jenel at Citysearch

I had a surprise party at your restaurant this past Saturday night, May 2nd. I can't say enough of how impressed I was with your staff. From the minute

I arrived they were there to help out - from unloading my car in the pouring rain to repairing the wedding cake I had brought. No one is our group had

A negative thing to say about the food to the service we received, and in a group of people, I would say that says kudos to you and your restaurant.

We were all so impressed we wanted to make sure all of you were thanked properly for making our party a fun event.

Best Italian restaurant in Addison

by cdcsag at Citysearch

This restaurant is a great place! As you walk in, the host greets you like you were just there yesterday. It has a cozy ambiance and the food is delicious. They have the best Calamari I have ever tasted in town. My chicken with artichokes hearts was excellent and my husband's lasagna was very tasty and different than your regular lasagna, it had Italian sausages and meatballs. The very attentive waiter recommended the chocolate dessert and the banana cream pie and my husband and I chose one of each. They were to die for! The waiter jokingly told us they had zero calories!

They have a good selection of wine. We sat outside on the patio which is very welcoming with lots of plants and the misters make it enjoyable in the summer heat. We had the best time and we'll definitely back very soon with some of our friends.

  • Pros: Not a chain restaurant, owned by a true Italian born there.
  • Cons: None

The very best Tiramisu

by Eumaguti at Citysearch

The friendly atmosphere, generous and delicious portions would be enough for me to recommend it, but their Tiramisu is the very best anywhere, period. Do not leave the restaurant without tasting it.

Early or Late, the experience is great!

by dypac at Citysearch

I have been coming to Antonio's for years, and it keeps getting better and better. I have tried just about everything on the menu, and have never been dissapointed. My personal favorites are the osso buco, tortellini, and all of the veal dishes. Specials that I have had include rabbit, filet mingon, and arctic char....all were phenomenal. Aside from the great food, the bar atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Three new flat screens with HD enhance the experience if you want to catch a ball game, and soon the large windows in the bar will open up like doors to the patio for open air libations. While the late night bar crowd can get lively, you never have to worry about screaming over the thump thump of a dj, or the grinding of a band. That being said, you never know when the acoustic guitar may come off the wall and you find yourself singing bar songs with 20 other happy patrons. And if the late night antics give you the munchies, the new bar menu is the perfect solution. From burgers to pizza to fried cheese to meatball sandwiches, there is surely something to satisfy your hunger. All in all, great food, great service, great atmosphere, great people.....GREAT EXPERIENCE!
