Swanky hotel lounge in the Hotel Inter-Continental offers quiet drinks in an upscale setting.

The Scene
The hotel setting is opulent and elegant, with tan marble and plush furniture in moss and brick-colored patterns. Palms, peace plants and philodendrons cluster around the raised stage in front of a tall glass window.

The Draw
Enjoy a leisurely drink and conversation; Bristol is part lounge, part living room with couches, love seats and upholstered chairs in intimate clusters. Musician Mike Nicosa plays contemporary jazz on the stage's grand piano Wednesday-Saturday, 7pm-midnight. A small dark-wood dance floor accommodates about eight couples. The staff is observant and always ready to refresh an empty glass.
