A Cut Above the Rest...."Danae"

Danae has been doing my hair for about 16 years and she is fabulous! She absolutely gives the best hair cut and color. Since becoming the owner of Gleasons she has made it the best hair salon in Uptown. I think you will become a "regular" if you give them a try.....

Gleason's is the best!

I have been going to Jamie for over a year now and I

come in from Baton Rouge just to get my hair done

at Gleason's. Jamie is excellent with color and highlights

and the atmosphere is so warm and comfortable, I always

leave with a big smile! Patrick

and Christine are excellent as well and lots of fun!

It's a small shop where you get personalized service.

I don't mind the trip from Baton Rouge and when I'm in Austin, I drive 3 hours just to make my appointment with Jamie!

Jamie did a great job with my highlights and haircut. She listened to me and did my highlights just like I asked. I have never seen anyone cut hair so fast - and she gave me such an awesome haircut. The salon is nice and clean and I will definitely go back to see Jamie!

I acutally read this review while casually searching the web. I had actually been looking for everything Jamie had to offer, so I booked two days in advance...which was much better than two weeks in advance.

Living in Plano there are plenty of salons but not many affordable ones, so I took the drive to Dallas today...which I LOVE...to Gleason's.

It was a little hard to find but I called and she actually stayed on the phone with me to direct me in and met me in one of the hallways, Great customer service from the get-go.

She's great, sociable, talented, and very efficient with her time.

I received a cut, deep conditioning treatment and styling in an hour and was very very please with the results!!

I will definitely go back and I would suggest for you to call and book an appointment. Very affordable and I will return...and pass out the extra business cards I got from her.

If you're looking as I was...your wait is over.

You'll be beautiful!!

Jamie was GREAT!

My experience here was great!!! I was so nervous to get my hair chopped off but Jamie completely eased my fears and did a fantastic job on my color AND cut!!! She was awesome!! Great price too!

• Cons: Hard to find in the Crescent. No one knew where it was.

Greatest Highlight/Haircut in the DFW Area

My family goes to Gleason's for haircuts & highlights. Jamie does a great job, I have 2 teenagers that wouldn't go anywhere else for haircuts. It's hard to find someone that does it all teenage haircuts, mens, women's and great highlights. But Gleason's has it all, you can also get a shoeshine and chair massage while you wait. Remember and ask for Jamie, she's the best.

BEST SALON EVER!!!

Jamie has been coloring and cutting my hair for a couple of years now. I would never go anywhere else!! She always does exactly what I ask for!!! She is the only person that I have total faith in when it comes to my hair. I had been looking for a great stylist for years when I found JAMIE. I always get compliments on my hair style/cut /color. Which always make a girls day a little better! She is totally affordable and worth the drive to the city!!!! The whole 4 hour trip from Austin!! Everyone else in the salon are very friendly and I've never seen any "bad hair" walk out of the salon. The stylist have Excellent color knowledge, up to date with trends, a warm inviting environment, and excellent service from the minute you step in the door!!! I LOVE JAMIE at Gleason's Hair Design at The Crescent Hotel!!

MY SALON 4 LIFE!!!

If you want a salon with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly people then visit Gleason's Hair Design at The Crescent Hotel. After being unhappy for years with my hair and spending excessive amounts of money on the so-called "top stylists"!! I bravely ventured out to try a new salon. I found Jamie Webb about three years ago. From the moment I sat down in Jamie's chair, I felt totally comfortable. She asked lots of questions to find out exactly what I wanted. She gave me a couple of different suggestions and worked inside my comfort level without trying to push anything too radical on me. I currently live in San Marcos and drive to Dallas to get Jamie to STYLE my hair.... I JUST DON"T LET ANYONE TOUCH MY HAIR!!! I trust her so much that I will let her do whatever she wants to my hair from the CUT to the COLOR!! She knows what is HIP AND NOW and what will work for the customer!!!! I just can not imagine going to any other salon! I LOVE IT AND HER!!!

Best haircut and color

Gleason's is a nice uptown place but they treat you very down home style. They all seem to just love the salon and customers. Jamie does an awesome job with hair cut / styles and out of the world color jobs. She is very professional and has a great sense of style and trends, you always look great when she's done with you!!!! She can even do a GREAT job on a Wiggly 3 year old lil boy !!!!!!!! My whole family goes to see her and I strongly recommend you and yours do too!

Best Salon in Dallas!!

Danae has been cutting and and coloring my hair for as long as I can remember. Everywhere I go I am constantly asked, "Who does your highlights?" or "Where did you get your cut?" She and the other girls, Christine and Jamie, are the best around. Not only great hair stylists but great friends. I'm always entertained by the fun conversations going around. Though Gleasons is certainly not just for the ladies. The barber, Wynn, is there for all the mens needs. The straight razor shave is always a great gift for the man in your life! Throw in the addition of an on-site shoe shine expert and a relaxing chair massage, and you have the perfect salon. Go try them out, you won't be sorry!!
