Go to the west End and look up wild bill's store for not only the best cowboy boots and cowboy hats in the metroplex but also the best srevice! Thes cowboys and cowgirls in this store know their hats and boots. They will shape a cowboy hat right in front of you in a matter of minutes! The cowboy boot selection for men and women is bar none! You can even have a pair of cowboy or cowgirl boots custom made for you. if your lucky Bill may be there and design a pair for you. He has actually done this for many movie stars and even the Mayor of Dallas! Pretty cool shop and the best darn cowboy boot and cowboy hat place I have found in Dallas and Fortworth. Print out your coupon before you go , the FREE belt buckle is nice too!

Got a hat :)

I went into Wild Bill?s western store with the intent on buying some souvenirs for my kids. I really was not expecting the amazing selection and service that I received in the heart of the West End ( a tourist area). I bought NICE t-shirts for the kids, a jacket, and when I went to the cowboy hats I was overwhelmed! This Cowboy walked up and asked me what shape I wanted? He started naming off things like a ?Clint Eastwood etc? and I had no idea, so he picked up a soft leather hat and started shaping. It was amazing, the speed and skill. In a min he had transformed this unassuming leather hat into a real styling cowboy hat perched on my head and shaped just for me! When I got to the counter I remembered I printed out the free belt buckle certificate they have on Citysearch, just in case, I found something, and you know what? It?s a nice belt buckle too! For FREE! So print out your free coupon and go to wild bill?s western wear sore, you will not be disappointed!

The perfect red boots!

Gals if you are looking for the perfect cowboy boot, cow boy hat or fringed jacket, look no further. I know it seems wierd going into the west end if you are not a tourist or looking for a restaurant, but you really need to check out wild bill's western wear store. They had MANY different fantastic selections on custom and standard cowboy boots, and I can say with confidence I now am the proud owner of the perfect pair of red cowboy boots in all of Dallas. They will even design a pair for you.

This is a must go to first for western wear. It was not overpriced and they really know their stuff. Two thumbs up on cowboy boots and cowboy hats and western wear! Oh, they have a coupon for a free beltbuckel on citysearch, print it out and get your free gift with purchase.

A Visit to Wild Bill?s Western Store

I have always wanted to come to Dallas. The western heritage has captivated me since I was a boy. I have always dreamed of cowboy boots. Just the thought of them brought me joy. I could see myself wearing a fine Stetson hat, a shiny Belt buckle and a beautiful leather vest. Every time I thought of this it made me stand so tall. I could just hear myself saying to all the friendly folks, "Howdy Y'all".Yet, I knew it was just a dream. I knew that the Dallas Spirit of the old Friendly West was just, at best, A thought and experience that could not possibility still exist. Until I was invited to see Wild Bill's Western Store, A western store that has been in Dallas for a few decades or more. Where people came from across the waters and in planes To experience first hand the excitement where Western heroes made their fame. When I stepped into Wild Bill's Western Store. The people were so friendly, the merchandise a marvelous delight, I looked across the store, western merchandise and beautiful leather filled the room. I heard a Texas voice that spoke to me, "Come, let me show you what you have always wanted to see!" Where I am taking you is far more than just your dreaming. This is a time for you to experience your desires to come true, Western works of art can be created just for you. Where movie stars and celebrities are often coming to Bill's office door.

Where works of art are created with excitement detail and craftsmanship and Texas pride just as his father before. Tell them that you heard it from me. I suggest you visit Wild Bill's Western Store and give them a Texas "Howdy" from me.

Take the time. This is a MUST see!

I was so excited to come to Dallas. I was looking forward to experiencing some Cowboy Culture. Everyone that I spoke to suggested that I go to see Wild Bill?s Western Store. It was just a few blocks from the Convention Center and it was located in the old historical West End District.

I am really glad that I did. When I went to Wild Bill?s Western Store I found everything western that I needed. From Dallas and Texas souvenirs for my friends to adorable western clothing for my children. The store was so rich with the smell of leather that it was a delight just to experience the atmosphere. Bill personally showed us around the store. We looked at the many different items that he made for top corporations and special events around the world. Bill showed us the beautiful creations of custom handmade boots that he had made for many of the celebrities, movie stars and delegates that have visited his store. The boots were so beautiful that both my wife and I had to have a pair made for us. Wild Bill?s employees were very knowledgeable. You could feel that Texas friendly spirit for which they are so well known. The manager helped us with a 3-piece belt and buckle set and hand shaped our hats to fit our individual personality. This was done on their 1956 Red Eldorado Cadillac Hat Steamer. We were so excited and we were ready for that night?s western event. In fact, we asked Bill if he would join us and bring his hats and custom shape them for everyone. He agreed. To say that this was an exciting event would be an understatement. I was so glad that I took the time to visit Wild Bill?s Western Store.

Yup, I?ve done some pretty strange projects in my time, that?s for sure,? he says. ?I just helped set an entire town up for an Alcon [a global medical company] event. These guys get me in when they need a little insight into the Texan spirit. I fit them with custom-made hats and boots, and I tell ?em how we Texan cowboys do it.?

If anyone?s steeped in old-time Texan cowboy spirit, it?s Dewbre. Now a sprightly, tanned 59 year old, he?s been in Western-wear since the age of 12, when he first began to learn the trades of fine leather craft, engraving and hand tooling from his master-craftsman father. In archetypal cowboy-style, Dewbre Senior lived his life in adherence to a handful of pithy campfire mottos. ?One of the sayings that sticks in my mind my dad used to tell me is: ?Anything?s easy if you know how- practice just helps,?? Dewbre says. ?I didn?t really get it at the time, but I did practice a helluva lot. And I guess I practiced it until I could do it well.?

?You get used to the celebrities coming in after a few years,? Dewbre says. ?We?ve done things for Arnold Schwarzenegger. Keith Richards, he bought some replicas of the old boots my father loved to wear. Eric Clapton was in here the other day, too, buying some boots for his wife.?

But the best celebrity story involves Elton John, who stopped by the Market Street store when Dewbre wasn?t there. ?There was a young girl who was waiting on him, and she had no clue [who he was]. He was trying boots on, saying ?Let me try this one,? then ?Let me try this one,? and these boots were pilin? up as he just kept laying them out on the floor,? Dewbre recounts. ?After half an hour or so, the girl came to one of my other employees and said, ?Now why can?t this guy make his mind up?? The coworker, you know, just laughed. Eventually the girl strode up to him and said, ?Well, which one of these boots are you gonna take?? He said, ?All of them, of course!? She almost fainted right there.?

The best western wear and cowboy hat prices!

We went to Ft. worth stockyards and found a hat for my husband and I remembered someone saying that Wild Bill?s western wear store in the West End will beat anyone?s price GUARENTEED! So we waited and took the Trinty express back to the Dallas Station and walked to Wild Bill?s Western Wear store. Sure enough he had the SAME hat for LESS Money AND he gave us a free belt buckle with the coupon we found on Citysearch city guide. The Hat selection was HUGE! The boots were so varied in price that you could buy a pair for $80.00 or have a pair custom made for you out of virtually anything, from cow hide, to snake, eel or alligator! What great service too! The man that sold us the hat said they stand behind their product and price because he doesn?t have time to sell you the same hat more than once so he gets it right the first time! I really can?t say enough about this western store. The western clothing was fantastic, western gifts and Texas gifts all in one place. So if you are looking for a cowboy, hat, cowboy boots or even a cowboy belt buckle, look around, but go to Wild Bill?s western wear to buy it , they guarantee price and have fantastic service. Hi!

I just had to write to thank you for the hospitality I experienced yesterday at your store in the West End. My colleagues and I escaped our conference for some barbeque, imagine, they didn't serve any barbeque during 3 days of meals. So we stopped in your store for some souvineers for the families and as I was at the counter, kind of leaning on the counter for support, I said to my friend that the 1 beer at lunch just wasn't cutting it. We had way too much to drink the night before and you know the saying, bite the dog....Well the very cool guy behind the counter so warmly offered to step up with a beer, I was too picky on the beer so he offered a shot instead. I thought he was kidding but he told me to follow him and there was a great bar behind the counter and he actually poured me a shot. That just made our day and our entire trip, truley! Even my boss, who was with me came into the office today and said that was the highlight of our trip. We're from NJ and people just aren't like that around here! It was a great experience. Of course reading your website I can see that's what you're known for, the great TX spirit! Well done and thanks for that great warmth and spirit. We need more of that in our world!!!!!
