An immediate favorite in DFW. First off, this place makes a good cup of coffee, which is just the first thing telling you you've made the right decision to eat at Bread Winners. I had a southwest-inspired egg dish and my girlfriend had the strawberry waffles. Both were excellent. The egg dish had a nice complement of tastes, and everything was perfectly fresh. Great food and ambiance - good drink specials daily. I have been to both the uptown and plano locations. They have half priced bottles of wine on wednesdays and martini specials on thursdays. the bread on the table is awesome and the service has always been good.

overrated. I do not understand why people rave about breadwinners. I have been there multiple times and am a dallas native...i simply don't get it. the breakfast bread sampler at the beginning generally has four types of bread and only one is good. why would i want tomato basil bread in a breakfast pastry mix every single time? Last time i went i decided to try some type of french toast with cinnamon or something but it didn't have any taste. it's decent but definitely does not live up to the hype. really, if you want good breakfast, go to the pancake house where they have good waffles, good pancakes and real syrup. mmmm…
