The Rose Still Tops on Greenville Ave.

After 25 years , the Rose is still a top attraction on Greenville. With over 25 TV's for the big game and great food, and nbice looking wait staff. Its hard to find a better layed back place to sit on a huge patio and watch the game on flat screens while enjoying some of the best drink prices around. 18 beers on Tap and Live music Thirsday night. Would go back again and again!!!

ONE OF THE BEST SPORTS BARS IN DALLAS !!

MY wife and I moved into the M street neighhborhood four years ago from Austin, Texas. We have been regulars at THE ROSE ever since. The new owners who we are proud to know and call friends have COMPLETELY rebuilt the OLD ROSE... and I mean completely.

I never respond to ratings but when I read the ramblings from one (probably a competitor) I felt compelled to respond.. The Rose is a very special place owned by special people... they know everyone it seems by first name and make you feel as if you are on vaccation WITH A LARGE FAMILY. They love dogs as we and they have water and bones on their pet friendly patio for the pups as soon as they arrive with

us!! OUR DOGS LOVE THE ROSE !! .... We have eaten there a thousand times with never a problem. They just make you feel at home... not like buy something and go as many places makre you feel... heck on gamedays we never leave.. They have FREE VALET SEVEN DAYS A WEEK so the valet comment is ??? The ADVOCATE newspaper in 2007 Rated 'THE ROSE" along with Snuffers and Kirbys as the JEWELS on Greenville Avenue. The place is simply well run , friendly and safe... They do not allow drunks or loudmouths and refuse to serve them so so maybe they have made a few ???

Stay the way YOU ARE ROSE " THE REAL PEOPLE LOVE YOU!!!

HORRIBLE FOOD, HORRIBLE SERVICE

I've been going to San Francisco Rose for the past 8 years and have been extremely disappointed in the past two, specifically since ownership changed hands. The last time I went was about 6 months ago to pick up an order of me & my husband's favorite dish, the one that used to always keep us coming back-the Hickory Chicken sandwich. When I got home I was absolutely horrified--the fries were so black and so hard that they had to be thrown away...even my normally indiscriminate husband couldn't eat them. Not only that, half the chicken was missing from the sandwiches. I have personally worked in the service industry and cannot understand what kind of owner would permit these types of things to happen, or what kind of employee would do such a thing. If they were out of usable fries, or chicken for that matter, they should have offered an alternative side or proposed some type of acceptable solution instead of stooping down to that level. I actually gave these people a generous tip, and really at this point the best thing I can do is to give everyone else one-DON'T EAT THE FOOD, YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND TREATED POORLY BY THE STAFF. If they didn't have the ethics to make things right with my order, God only knows what else is going on in that kitchen!!

• Cons: The food and customer service is HORRIBLE, and they have valet service on inappropriate nights.
