Best way to wind down your day

I'm not sure what user "ptwptw" was up to on his visit, but when I got punched in the face at the Billiard Bar, I got free drinks! LOL I love this place and have been going several times a week for years. There's plenty of places to sit or stand. Place is spacious so smoke not a problem. There's a nice, comfortable patio with separate bar. Several pool tables, air hockey, foosball, GoldenTee, SilverStrike, and video games as well as Texas Hold 'Em and Pool Tournaments. HD and non-HD TV's all over the place showing games on different channels. Staff is accommodating and friendly. No problem with dogs or bikes or food brought in. Very laid-back with mixed crowd. Music is non-obtrusive (but sometimes a bit heavy on the 90's sound for my taste). Can't beat the drink specials which get down to the $1-$1.25 range!!!

• Pros: Cheap drinks, no cover. Great staff.
• Cons: No ATM. Limited drink specials on Mondays & Tuesdays. Music sometimes repetitive

Best Bar on Greenville

I have gone to this bar for many years and the staff has been nothing but friendly and courteous to their customers. The drink prices are hard to beat on the weekdays and the pool and other games top everything off. This bar is a great place to bring a few friends, have a few drinks, and enjoy each other company instead of going to loud, packed, club in the area. If you come to the bar often (aka once a week or so) you will soon find yourself having many bar friends who are regulars too.

To the person below this review: The person below is full of it. When it's 2:00 it's time to stop drinking! I'm sure that you were punched for only wearing a hat and nothing else....at 2:00 in the morning I'm sure there was no back talk to who ever punched you. It's a shame that people have to write reviews because they have a bad experience at a place because of their stupidity.

• Pros: Good prices, great services, and fun atmosphere
• Cons: could have a few more pool tables you some times have to wait to play

trashy and full of thugs

Went here for a low key night while in town visiting some friends expecting to be able to drink and hang out with out being bothered. Complete mistake. The staff was completely rude - asked for my id almost everytime i ordered a drink even though i had a tab open on my credit card, they took our beers away from us at exactly 2am and told everyone to leave, on the way out i was punched in the face by some thug because i was wearing a new york yankees hat. what a joke. when i asked the staff to call the police they simply shoved me and my friends out the door even though we were not the instigators, nor were we retaliating. RIIIIIdiculous.

• Pros: cheap drinks..but then again what place in dallas doesn't have cheap drinks
• Cons: staff, crowd, atmosphere

Can't get any better!!!!

Greenville neighborhood place to meet friends for a game of pool or relax with a round of beers.

Located in Lower Greenville, the faded green wooden facade with blue and yellow lettering houses eight of the best maintained billiard tables in town. A laid-back waitstaff add to the relaxing atmosphere and ambience. It's a bar in which to unwind after work, alone or with a group of friends. A modernized jukebox plays in the background while the crowd talks sports. Plenty of well and domestic drink choices.
