In 2006 the Dallas Museum of Natural History and the Science Place merged to become the Museum of Nature & Science. This extensive facily includes an IMAX theater, planetarium and 14 exhibits ranging from fossils from the ice age to riding through a computer network. Seven collections explore varieties or birds, mammels, insects, minerals and more. Also, the Dallas Children's Museum merged with this museum, bringing its popular programs.
