I just moved from Connecticut where I had to part with my beloved long-time hairdresser. I was desperately searching for a new stylist and found someone with hair like mine and got a referral to Rocket Science. I called to book an appointment with LeeAnne and it took several weeks to get in. By the time I did though, it was well worth it. I am very happy with the cut and my new highlights. The blowdry even lasted me 3 days and looked amazing. Cute stuff too!

Pros: great location, nice people, clean, good music, and wine!

Cons: what??? no way

Ask for JESSE! I have been to Rocket Science twice now - after the first time with Jesse I did have a little doubt about going back. 1st time I told him to do whatever he wanted since my hair was crying for help and he just did a few layers nothing special. This past time I decided with my wedding coming up in a few months that I should put more thought into my hair so I went back to Jesse and it was great! He was combing out my very damaged hair and it was just so dry and tangled that he ended up cutting 4" off - much needed even if I didn't want to loose all of that length so close to my wedding date but it is cut so well and healthy now I really have to look past my own hang ups. LOVE IT!!!

I was looking for a good salon in my neighborhood, and I finally found one, This is a really great place. Jesse gave me a fantastic cut. I would recommend him to anyone. I will defininitely be going back. Thanks so much, Jesse!

I have never felt so relaxed. Robert definitely has the touch,and I highly recommend him. This was the first time that I had a massage by a man and I felt a bit nervous,but he instantly put me at ease. LeeAnn has been my hairstylist for years and as the owner she is always adding a fresh perspective to the salon as well as my hair. I am never disappointed in the fun and refreshing atmosphere,plus her blowdry's are stellar.

Pros: Comfortable,Laid-back,On-time,good parking.

i heard about this place and looked up directions and came across these reviews. i tried cat and britiney since they are close to my house. i am very happy with my hair. very happy so i thought i would leave my own review.

I have worked in the salon industry and am very versed in technique and skill of a colorist. Carolynn's expertise is unsurpassed. She is incredibly professional and cnfident and I've never had color that lasts so long and even grows out nicely with my hair. The quality of the products is excellent too - my hair always feels healthy even right after my process. She is wonderful!! I have someone that specializes in cuts, so I prefer to go to separate technicians for both, especially because I doon't usually need both at the same time anyway. This works best for my schedule.

Carolynn colored my hair and I am so happy with the result! I have blonde highlights and I have had trouble keeping the brassy redish tones out of my hair during the summer in the past. Carolynn took the time to talk with me about how much I am in the sun and made recommendations to keep the color the way I like it! I can TOTALLY tell the difference between someone who simply colors hair and someone who SPECIALIZES in hair color. She has ten years of training/experience in color! After a few weeks, the color still looks great even after being in the sun quite a bit! She is a true professional, and I would recommend her to anyone!

Nail Tech Rhonda has recently moved here, much to my delight. She does a fabulous manicure and pedicure. No artificial nails here though. They're strictly all natual and mostly organic and don't want all that nuclear waste from artificial nails floating through the atmosphere. Do yourself an indulgence and come see Rhonda.

Pros: Great looking salon-they also carry a lot of great gift type items, plenty of parking

LEEANN!!!!!!! Thank you!! This is the first time in my life that I have walked out of a salon with EXACTLY the style that I wanted!! I am so freaking excited that I have found the Rocket Science Salon. Leeann did an excellent job at LISTENING to what I was saying and executed it perfectly. I cannot say enough how pleased I am with this salon and specifically Leeann. I was offered a beverage right as I walked through the door, I waited for two minutes before being seen, EVERYONE THAT WORKED THERE ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE HAVING FUN!! I will be a client for life. :)

Pros: GETTING WHAT YOU ASK AND PAY FOR.

I found this salon on Citysearch and thought I'd share my great experience.I'm typically a barbershop kind of guy,but I have started getting alot of gray hair and was looking to get something done about it.Hey,I'm not even 30 yet.I made an appointment with Cat for color and Brittany for my haircut.They both made me feel very comfortable (they even gave me a beer)and my hair has never looked this good.The color looks very natural and my cut is easy to deal with.Not only will I be back,but I'm thinking about buying some hair stuff that Britt used.
