Great Food!!
by Jay Jacob at Citysearch
I ordered dinner from Taj Express last night. Although they don't deliver to hotels (small orders), it was worth the short drive (to go order). I didn't realize that they had a dinner buffet with a little bit of everything. I will have to try that next week.
I ordered the Mixed Grill, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Naan. The portions were generous (more than I could eat). The food was just simply delicious.
I would recommend Taj Express to everyone that wants to GOOD Indian food at a reasonable price. (The buffet is a good way to sample a variety of Indian food in one sitting). I am glad I found this restaurant on City Search!
- Pros: Good Selection
- Cons: No hotel delivery
Excellent Paneer Dish!

I love Indian food. It's comfort food to me. So, when I am having a stressful day at work (just down them street from Taj Express) and need something to calm me down-this is the place. Excellent price and food.
Rich, authentic Indian standards are served buffet style at this Lemmon Avenue restaurant.

In Short
Acrylic murals in rich gold, purple and orange tones adorn the concrete walls of this former Pizza Hut turned Indian food favorite. Throbbing Hindi dance music and a polite turban-wearing owner and his wife greet you at the door. Regulars favor the inexpensive buffet, which includes salad with fresh chutney and raita, naan, and basmati rice as staples. Hot and spicy dishes include tandoori chicken, creamed spinach, cauliflower and potatoes, and creamy tikka masala sauce.
Very good, inexpensive food

This is a nice small place with a quick inexpensive buffett. I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Much better than expected, especially for the price. I definitely recommend it.
What it lacks in ambiance, it makes up in cuisine
