I love this store. I have never encountered any of the mean people discussed below. I grew up going to this store and I now buy all baby gifts from Chocolate Soup! I have taken my niece in with me and nobody yelled at her for touching anything so I am not sure what that is about. I recommend everyone living in the Dallas area to go here...And there is always an awesome sale!

Ruined a Special Day!

I went shopping today with my mother & my daughter for her holy communion dress. This is a very special day in the Catholic religion. We were greeted as soon as we walked in with a hello & told about the specials. My daughter tried on 5 dresses & picked one she really liked. It was very nice except we noticed one side of the material for the bow in the back of the dress was about 6 inches longer. All of their communion dresses happened to be 50% off, but my mother inquired to a different employee (an older lady) if we would get an additional discount since the dress my daughter liked was faulty. This employee immediately talked very sternly & said no, as if we were wanting it for free. There wasn't another dress like it to compare. I asked her when they might be getting additional dresses, her response "I don't know, none of us know what we are getting until we open the box. My manager probably doesn't know, but she's not here, she's sick & we have no idea when she'll be back." About 5 mins later, we decided not to get the dress. I was looking at another dress & I heard the older lady tell the employee up at the register how we were asking about a discount because we said something was wrong with the bow, and then they proceeded to laugh. I was standing 3 feet away from them, they didn't bother to whisper or even acknowledge that I was there. I confronted them. First they tried to deny it, then the older lady walked off. The employee behind the register did a somewhat apology & stated they've never had any defects before. Then the older lady came back & I told both of them that they should be ashamed of themselves, how dare they treat people that way. I also told them the next time they want to laugh or talk rudely about a customer they should wait until we walk out the door. I do not recommend this store to anyone, I will be letting the parents of my church know how they treated my family. They ruined what was supposed to be a special experience.

Best Childrens Clothing I've Found

I just visited Chocolate Soup for the 1st time and I love it. I found such adorable specialty clothing for my girl's. Cute smocked dresses and gorgeous embrodiered dresses. Lots and lots of different styles to choose from. I am so impressed. Great customer service also.

Mix it up with practical or fanciful togs for little ones, with sweet prices to match.

In addition to the Chocolate Soup label, the store features other designer lines--all at deeply discounted prices. Jumpers, pantsuits, infant sizes and accessories are especially popular. Girls' sizes run newborn to 14, and boys' sizes run newborn to 7. Clothing is made with thick hems and room-to-move buttons, so growing children can wear them until they wear out.

I am a grandmother of six great kids! I dressed my daughters in Chocolate Soup clothes and now I am dressing my grandchildren in Chocolate Soup. The clothes are fantastic as well as the prices!

best children's clothing and accessories

This is the best store for all your kid's stuff. They have the great sales and make sure to sign up for the mailing list so you can get insider information. The accessories are fabulous and there is no one else in Dallas with so many bows!! Toys, books, socks,jewelry--I can't get enough!! The best thing about the store is that your child will look like a child and not like a fluzzy. Smocked and appliqued outfits and dresses at SALE prices.
