I also saw the large number of hyped (giddy? shill?) reviews and just had to go through the city search registration process to add some balance to this. Artistik Edge is my regular place. It's good, but primarily because my stylist knows how to cut my hair and it's close to my house. Toneea is very good. Someone referred me to her saying that she was excellent for cutting mens hair and that is correct, she is. But.. the place has horrible overhead flourescent lighting that makes you look like a ghoul in the mirror. They have to change this lighting. You can get an idea of it from looking at the picture above. Yuk! It's like Wal-Mart Lighting.. It's so bad I have considered going elsewhere, but my stylist is just too good and it's not worth the risk to find another. A minor annoyance is the little promotional tv screens that play ads in your face.. Cool if you could select your own programming, but you have to watch their ads.... Of course, you don't have to watch them at all, which is a good choice. Overall, it's good. Look for coupons. I think citysearch has one now.
